New Scoia'tael cards

I'm quite surprised they're listing overall ST winrate at 51% and even more surprised it's the same as SY. Not sure where this data is coming from, tbh. 58 for MO seems legit, though. Based on those numbers, do I think all 3 belong on the same tier? Nah, but hey, I'm not on any pro teams.

personally I have no problem admitting I underestimated the potential of the new cards. even though nobody is playing the 9p special which got the most hate.

the "tier 1 ST deck" in this one doesnt even include any new card  (ok it does include simlas, who's icon bugged out for me,but still)

Yeah, it's basically the same madoc deck from like a year ago, with simlas thrown in instead of justice. And sure, the double-or-singletall removal flexibility with Simlas is nice, but the deck has like zero points and a ton of bricks. Its biggest card is the "normal" 13-point Gord, since it plays no infinite spell chains. How is this T1? What is it doing on blue coin? How does it win R1 period? I usually play madoc when I run into one too many SY and feel like giving them a taste of their shiz :D

So, experts on ST, do tell me why is it only 2 out of 16 players in qualifiers didn't choose this faction if it's so "fragile" and "weak", as you proclaimed?

Oh, if you don't believe me, use this link: https://tournaments.playgwent.com/tournament/11285/participants
(also some clarifications - IronMindset is actually Pajabol, Akella121 is Nik_r, Vivy2056 is Hanachan, KrystallvloneENOT is Ch.ase).
Well, I agreed and admitted in some other thread that, I, in fact underestimated Simlas. I still think Orb is an overpriced card existing solely for the purpose of Whisperers Blast in one card. The only reason ST has been very popular is that it is supposed to be a counter for MO decks. The amount of pointslam MO can make can never be matched by even greedy NR decks and that is the reason NR couldn't live up in Thanned Coup. Same goes with SK. SK's pointslam is no match for MO in the current state.

I agree that in the current state of SY, MO, and NG, ST is a solid 4th faction. Look at the stats from the Top 16 Qualifiers. ST has a win rate of 42.55% which is nothing to be happy and proud about (may be when comparing with NR and SK, yes.. at least ST is not completely dead as it has been in past several seasons):

BTW, did anyone see the Qualifiers? Especially that one game in which MO pointslammed One Hundred and Twenty Five points in Five cards. Even when people specifically teched against MO, it had 51% win rate. Now that is what I call OP and Tier 1. SY is a different story altogether and I hope to see some some meaningful nerfs to SY and MO this patch.

I don't know how much is the meta report from other teams are reliable. We can be 100% sure only when CDPR releases the leader playrate-winrate sheet. While Team Arituza says Madoc deck as Front runner (which has only Simlas from PoP exapansion) Elderblood says Simlas+Orb as Tier 1 (which was played in the Challenger). But I agree that ST is not in dumpster anymore. Lets wait for this weekend to see what happens in Open which is much more standard and much more competitive and people now know how each faction fares well in tournaments.

Where i can see this match?

Is it just me or is the Whisperer, in her premium version, playing a tune that sounds suspiciously like "Kaer Morhen" from the Witcher 3 OST?

"Green hands" is the name of the game for Scoia'tael in our upcoming expansion Harvest of Sorrow!

Im no fan of the new cards Spellatell is still incomplete they are good but not the best more like the top 4 or 5 deck behind NG SK SY MO. What they needed was a elf that tutors out specials a 6 power elf that damages a unit by 2 with 2 charges zeal order that gains a charge everytime you play a special card a 4 provision spell decide damage a card by 4 increase damage by 1 for every alied elf in otherwords just 2 alied elfs or boost a unit by 4 and increase boost by 1 for every alied elf and a 5 provision spell that damages a unit by 5 and spawns a deadeye

I'm not sure if you are serious, cause it sounds like 'I don't like new SC cards because they don't make my deck the best of the game that crushes everything'...

I wonder why ST always get overpriced cards all the time ?

Filavandrel should be zeal order 9 provision 5 power choose play a special card from your deck whose provisions matches this cards power or create a card whose provisions match this cards power

Bountiful harvest should be create a bronze ST mage and boost it by 2

Dont need torque but a 6 power 7 provision elf that damages a unit by 2 with 2 charges zeal order gain a charge everytime you play a special card
playing him from the deck with a tutor gives him a charge

Dont need watcher of the valley but a 5 provision special card decide damage a card by 5 increase damage by 1 for every alied elf or boost a unit by 5 increase by 1 for every alied elf

Sorry, but Torque is an amazing card and it will become ESSENTIAL to handbuff archetype; so, yes, he's very needed.
Bountiful Harvest seems very good too, specially in handbuff archetype, which seems to be the focus this expansion.
Agree with Fila; he probably will need a little boost to power or a reduction cost.
The card you propose to replace Watcher seems really broken, because he has an easy potential to do much more damage than his provision cost... for a bronze!

He writes stuff like that under literally every thread about ST, don't know what's that about lol

Really happy with Torque and Harvest. Been a while since I tried a handbuff deck and going to test how harvest does in my symbiosis deck.
