New slots for abillities (request)

Is it possible to do with ModKit? Personally, I'd love mod which would add additional special slots for General Skills (2 or 3) or give mutagen bonuses from these abilities at least.

I would prefer to have abilities active without need to assign them to slots, that would be awesome.

Adding new slots would require changing design of UI. That might be difficult. Especially if we have .swf files instead of .fla

And what about mutagens... I still didn't played they game, but from what i know they are designed in a way which fuel further power creep.

If you make it work, you are god. I wanted this since first 10 hours ingame, because I hate current abilities system.

@Gerchan
But just bear in mind that with this the power creep will be even worse :p

But monsters deserve to be even more powerfull. And Witchers beat those because they are smart, not because their physical prowess.

And for me (subjective opinion) game should reflect that. If i'm not smart enough i will have my ass kicked. Thats why i loved difficulty mods for TW1 and thats why i love S.T.A.L.K.E.R games. Too hard to beat by brute force. Only smartest will survive.

I do agree with you, but devs should add to monsters, upgrade their AI and skills, take the challange to the next level, not take away from the player.;)

@J_Slash
Balancing is also taking from the player. Game design is not only about what you have, but also about what you don't have ;).

I'm also not a fan of slots, but i think that after removing them game will require some balancing. The best thing would be complete redesign of talent tree, because after "settings talent free from slots" the leash is not holding power creep anymore. And current talents are kinda "power creepy". The best thing in the world would be having system which doesn't need leash, but thats not easy thing to do. And this takes out of a game "feeling of progress" that so many people find important.

can you tell me your mod's name, or the link, please?
Btw, I think combat in TW3 is easy because enemies'smove set is simple, may be with mod, monster and human will have more move set (for example, fire element golem's moveset: charge, firestream, smash, normal attack, fire rain, throw rock...)
