That is exactly how I played it.

For the scene with Act 2 in Henselt's camp, it shows the gallows on one side from when Dethmold went crazy looking for conspirators, and then it shows the same scene without the gallows on the other side. Is it possible to prevent Dethmold from killing all of the soldiers and/or the Blue Stripes? If so, how do I do it?

I did it that way on my current play-through and it worked out fine :) The only possible disadvantage I noticed is that you get fewer options for the end-of-act-I mission because Iorveth is captured, and I assume he's going to be pissy later on when I try to talk to him :p

You talk with Zoltan instead. He tells you they are heading for Upper Aedirn.

I'm a bit confused. When does this conversation take place? I took Zoltan with me to Vergen so I didn't have another chance to talk to him until after the mist was lifted.

If you help Roche in the clearing you talk to Zoltan in Flotsman and he helps you join the Scoia'Tael in freeing Iorveth.

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about Act 2 on Roche's path and whether the soldiers always get hanged. I understand what you meant now :)

After playing Witcher 2 numerous times on the PC, I played through the Xbox version of the game a couple of weeks ago and was very surprised to see Loc Muinne on fire (with sorcerers and sorceresses on stakes) at the end of the game due to my decisions. Great job, CDP! I was very happy to see my decisions affect the scenery.

I also love the new cutscenes in between each Chapter. I did have a question though. Are there 16 different ending cutscenes now? Or is it still the 16 different playthroughs as before? If it's different cutscenes, I'd definitely play 14 more times (this time on the PC) to see them all. :-D

I'm pretty sure that the Outro cutscene is the same for everyone (the one with the guy on the bridge). However Dandelion's ending narration is divided into a few separate chunks, so for each part he'll say one version or the other depending on what you chose.

I'm not sure, but my guess on the Roche hangings is that it depends on whether or not you tell Dethmold about the conspiracy before you go for Vinson.

Spykun, there are not 16 different cutscenes, but a mix-and-match of a bunch that reflect your decisions throughout the game. There are WAY more than 16 endings though - that number has always been wrong since it only includes the variables of Spare/Kill Aryan -> Iorveth/Roche -> Spare/kill Stennis/Henselt -> Go with ally/Save Triss. (This disregards several other major choices made over the course of the game)

Thanks Ward Dragon and Lurtz for your response. :-D I'll run through this game several more times to see what Dandelion says during his narration's in-between each Chapter and ending. Stay cool, guys!

Enjoyed the video! :)
Must admit I'd forgotten how many different choices and consequences there were. Decisions, decisions! The only cure is some more replays
