@Costin he was talking about advantages, disadvantages of both options. I would say that if to keep peace you have to start killing people on the streets even tho enemy empire is invading south of the country then I would say that you hardly have any control.
I don't have to argue about my point of view. We have very limited info about situation - for example KoP use often argument that for sure there shortsighted idiots among important nobles in Temeria. I for example believe that there is still patriotism (in the books Temerian nobles wanted to join war at very beginning of it to aid Aedirn and Lyria, even tho they didn't have any profit in it and even tho Foltest didn't want to - scene of Foltest announcing invasion) and because I believe that they gonna unite against common enemy just like Geralt said. But those are only our assumptions.
Right answer know only people in CDPR. It's already written and probably coded somewhere there and we have to wait one more year to get that answer.

.I love CDPR <3. It's nice to see that they give a shit about their fans. So here's part of my personal wishlist, I hope they see it:
- No Minimap/Questcompass which shows you where the objective is. This ruins all the fun in many open world games. Journals like in W2 are better.
- Some better climbing mechanics - Let us climb like in the Gothicseries (I'm glad they now it lol)and not just in predesegnated spots. This is what exploration means and what people might have missed in the earlier Witcher games.
- No 'grazing' of towns please. What I mean by that is, that if you clear all quests in a town it's essentially dead. That sucks. There should be new quests/activities to do there later.
--> Chapters/Acts: They are basically the way to go if you want to realize the point above imo.
- No mass of boring give/take/kill quests, especially no random quests like in Skyrim. Quality instead of quantity.
- Force me to do the plot once in a while or I will probably be overpowered when I do it/ bored of all the questing -->pacing.

I really don't see why Temerian nobles would be any different from Aedirnian or Redanian ones. Loyalties are in constant flux. Even those who opposed Nilfgaard can now change their minds because it's a very different situation (before the 2nd war, the north was audacious and wanted to be on the offensive. And of course they can profit from acquiring more land. It means potential fiefs for them). I mean the guy who swore eternal friendship to Foltest betrayed him a few months later.
And I don't see any evidence that Radovid only deals with violence. If at 20ish years oldd he was able to assume control of Redania without any recorded massacre, then that's clearly a guy that knows how to play the game, aka use all the tools at his disposal and not just violence. If anything, Radovid seems to rely more on fear than violence itself, and one cannot use Loc Muinne, an exceptional situation, as indicative of hos overall day to day p olicy. Indeed we are shown that he always prefers to have at least a semblance of rule of law.

Well as I said in this discussion there is a lot of "I think", "I don't see a prove", "I doubt" and "I assume" as we don't have a full picture. We don't know what type of characters are rest of Temerian nobles, we don't know why Emyhr didn't tried to assassinate Radovid (and I'm pretty sure that he had some pretty good reason), what plans do have other sides of conflict etc..
I believe that Temeria will be stronger with Natalis as leader, you believe that it will be stronger with Radovid as leader. I won't convince you and you won't convince me, so we can only wait for TW3.

CDPR is still commited to the PC as their lead platform, with all the consequences that bears, both in technology and gameplay-wise, right?
