You find more articles and videos about toy figurines and signing booths than the Witcher.
I guess that's the price one has to pay for being a new to Comic Con~

I suppose so, it does seem like a stark contrast to E3 at which TW3 got a lot more of the spotlight.

Then again you don't hear all that much from games in general from SDCC. You hear more about shows, movies, merchandise and the likes.

For example, I keep a twitter feed for the word "witcher", and so far the majority of tweets are about the cosplay contest or that "World of the Witcher" book Dark Horse are doing.

Actually i also thought we`ll get some more comic from the Witcher universe. Comic Cons really about that type of merchandize. But maybe its just early for that. I wish the based on book comic cycle with art like shinobi2u and author of Reason of state appear someday. Even just the first Striga story.

Well XDCC is actually not a video game convention. It's about everything nerdy like comics (hence the name), figurines, book signings, movies, TV series and also video games. Witcher is also not THAT famous in the geek and nerd scene. A convention like comic con is owned by DC and Marvel and their likings...

Comic-con has definitely branched out from just being comics now. Doesn't bother me at all, though it feels like a re-name would be appropriate at this point.

And thanks for the nod! It would be fun to do something like that. If I have time, maybe I'll put together a test page for fun. If folks have a certain story or part they'd like to see, let me know and I'll see what I can cook up.
