I like it. I don't know why people hate on it, since we all know this Xbox is more than just for games.(that is massive achievement) They clearly aiming for much and different audience now. I bet they will be surprising people in E3, as usual.

Well, of course there's a sector of the population who hate on it just because it's Microsoft.

Then there's the sector who are part of the current audience, and they see the same as you do - Microsoft is moving away from them, but they're not interested in the new features. So you have a combination of the emotional reaction of betrayal combined with the rational concerns of seeing problems both in maintaining your current investment in games and in meeting your needs in the future. An angry reaction may or may not be justified, but it is natural.

Then there's the sector who have no personal investment, emotional or financial, in MS but are concerned about erosion of consumer rights, about privacy, DRM, resale. And the sector who is simply concerned about MS shooting themselves in the foot and reducing the competitiveness of the games market. And MS investors wondering about share prices. All of these groups may or may not be hating, but they're definitely going to be loud.

Then there's the new market that MS are targeting. Those who will love the Xbox. They're not wrong to do so, but they may get drowned out.

Im getting both consoles but i definitly prefer PS4.However Microsofts e3 conference will have to be perfect in order to get out of the hole they dug themselves in.And people seem to forget that SONY still as around a dozen triple A exclusives in development(Geurrilla Games also has a new ip in the works as well as santa monica,Naughty dog,SONY bend, and all other first party studios as well as there second party Ready at Dawn plus they still have a deal with Rockstar for a exclusive and AGENT is still in development) and already have more exclusivity deals(Destiny,AC4,Watch Dogs) and already have better indie support. I dont want PS4 to dominate though. No competition= No more awsome stuff. Lets hope that those 15 exclusives microsoft promised arent mostly kinect titles. More competition = More awsome stuff

Oh, man. Could someone else take this while I go and warm up the flamethrower?
I'll give you a clue though. Balls. I has none.

My one hope is that there's some deep Machiavellian approach here, that MS deliberately chose NOT to answer the concerns this week, so that they can wait and see what people scream about loudest, and address that at E3.

My biggest fear is that they'll only address the Single Biggest Issue (whatever that is) and keep everything else.

Of course, as I live in a country that doesn't get video streaming services, doesn't follow NFL, and has internet access measured in kb/s rather than mb/s, I can probably safely say that I won't be getting an Xbox.

Yeah, he's pretty ball-less. I think it's a flying thing. Cuts down on the aerodynamic effect. Still, he's a pretty good guy. Aren't you, Dragon?

Also mellow. SO mellow.

My friends will be buying new console, can I trade games with them like we always did? Hell no. Plus they will charge monthly fees on top of that for services I will never use. Smart TV does the same job better.

"We didn't want Call of Duty to be just another Call of Duty game, so we've made a game about men who shoot guns who are emotionally attached to each other on a professional level!"

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

But you can use voice commands!

If I was employeed by Playstation, I'd be planning on buying ad space filled with Xbox voice commands to screw with people's Xbox TV experience. It would be the most hilariously trollish ad campaign ever. You're just sitting there when all of a sudden a commercial comes on that opens the disc tray and powers down the system.

The logic in this always astounds me.
"Each game gets three owners, so if we stop the second hand market, we'll make three times as much money."
Wrong. At best, you'll make the same amount of money, and people will BUY FEWER GAMES.

They charge us service fee's for things we wont ever use and force us to be connceted to the internet at least once in 24h. Isn't it enough? I am only looking at getting console for those few exclusive games that wont port to PC. I dont want Kinect, voice controlled remote control or monthy fees. PS4 is looking good so far but It might all change if MS show some sick exclusive AAA games at E3.. But it would have to be something more than Halo or Gears of War.

Given 99% xbox exclusives always been temporary, you can always get a ps4 or upgrade your pc.
