Well reading the topic about the NG nerf, i think everyone agree similate its super strong if the opponent its not using a control deck.
But, since everyones use some kind of control, i have a suggestion about a new leadder.
"Create a card with 3 power and 1 shield (or 2 power and 2 shield) with assimilate - charge 3. When all charges are used give shield to an unit you control."
So, with that, we can put on the ground more than 1 assimilate and dont need to appeal to portal or operator.
I think a leader with that will make assimilate much better.
Also, i can see ppl using this leader with some tactical cards and Hefty Helge. Put the assimilate units on the ground, puts Hefty Helge and ground and buff assimilate with experimental remedy and imperial diplomacy and also gives charges do Helfty (and another shield, if he needs(.
