Nilfgaardian Connection quest log bug

At the Inn I chose not to fight the Baron's men and instead buy them drinks. However, in the quest log it shows up as having failed to defeat the Baron's men with a red X. I have heard other people have had this bug and when they get to the Baron's place the guys attack you when they aren't supposed to. I am just wondering if this issue is going to be fixed soon. If it will I will just hold off on going there until it is fixed.

I have the same problem. I bought everyone drinks and never fought them but somehow the objective to defeat the barons men became listed and it shows up as failed in my quest log. I never had them attack me at all later in the game though
