No dialogue voices in Mac Version

Hello,

I am running the stand-alone version of The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition on a Macbook Pro 13 Retina, early 2015.

I am missing the dialogue voices, as well as the lips movement during character interaction.

So far I have only found threads regarding the PC version. Solutions proposed in those threads where:

- Reinstall the English language pack
- Switch to Stereo Sound
- Check registry entries.

I cannot do any of these because the language packs are for the PC version only, my audio options don't offer the possibility to change speaker settings and I have no registry on the Mac.

Is there any known solution for this or can anyone of the official staff help me out?

Many thanks,
Boris

I think the language packs are the same for Mac - there's details here:
http://en.cdprojektred.com/support/?support-product=the-witcher-2&platform=mac-os

It may be worth checking the other links in that section, and contacting CDPR support direct if you can't see an answer there.

Thank you, Dragonbird. I found this page before and, following the links, only ended up at the official Witcher 2 page. The only language packs I found are the one within the support section of the page, and those are for PC only. I suppose the files are the same, however, they are packed as 4 BINS and an EXE installer, which I can make no use of on my Mac.

I will contact the support directly and ask for the language packs.

Meanwhile, any other suggestions? Or are there Mac users here who had to deal with similar issues?

BTW: I also installed the game via Steam before, with the same results...

Sorry, I've no other suggestions. You're probably best contacting the official support.

Will do!

Nevertheless – thank you for your quick response.

Hello,

sorry, it is me again. I tried to contact the official support, but the support form doesn't seem to work. Instead, I was asked to write to pc_support@witcher3.com, which I did. I received an automatic answer telling me that the Email had been discontinued and I should use the support form.

Is there another way to contact support?

Thanks,
Boris

To the best of my knowledge, the form here:
http://en.cdprojektred.com/contact-support/
should work. People have been using it for TW3 reports.

Just got the email address: support@cdprojektred.com
