No disk in drive message

Just patched to v2.0 and am now getting a "no disk in drive" message when starting game from launcher. if I click "continue" or "try again" a couple of times the game will continue to load and runs fine, just wondering what's up with the disk check thing.

You are not alone with this message as there are countless others . I am currently trying to ascertain if this happens when using the launcher to update or by manually patching or both .

I updated manually and do not experience this message .

I've had the same issue regardless of whether I patched manually or through the auto update.

It's a nuisance, but it won't stop you from playing the game. Hopefully it will get addressed in the next patch.

I've had the same problem. Just press Ignore (probably twice) and game will launch. Somehow, after about ten game starts, game or my computer "learned" that disc is not needed and I don't see that message anymore.

thanks gents. Garram, will see if the 10 or so starts holds true on my end - thanks again.

as an aside, I have a deep respect for the people at CDPRed but to release a major patch like v2.0 and still have bug issues is a little disappointing. yes the no disk thing is a very minor issue but maybe a little more work on the front end would save them some time (and money) on the back end... just a thought. still I would rather spend my money with the folks at RED than the EA corporate overlords.
