i7 6700k
16 GB RAM
RTX 3060 Ti
550w Bronze PSU
Asus Z170-K
Crucial SSD
Win 10 Up to date
Steam Version 2.2 and maybe 2.3
Settings: DLSS Quality, no RT, everything high/ultra, 1080p.
Driver: 552.22 because the current driver ran worse.
I played the game for a few days with my old GTX 1060 gb on mid and it ran very well, then i upgraded to the RTX and i ran even better. Then i bought the PL DLC, still running fine in NC, okay in DT. But since then, the game runs worse every day, using more and more of my CPU. I had stable 60 fps at Jig Jig Street, now it stutters there and the region where Regina resides, DT is even worse now.
Areas that ran fine with my settings, are now stuttering. I checked the files, i ran DISM and SFC, used DDU and re installed my GPU driver.
Strangely, my PC is a bit slower since i've installed the RTX, i re seated everything. Other games run fine on Max settings, i tested with Division 1 and DayZ, since i don't have many demanding games.
I tried to run the AI Tweaker of my Mainboard, but the PC stopped working, so i reverted everything.
Has anyone an idea what's going on? I am going to install the RTX on my wifes PC, just to see if there are any problems, but since my other games are running, fine, i don't think my RTX is toast.
It could be a problem with my monitor, since the display is a bit too bright and everything seems to be a bit more blurry when using HDMI, since it only has HDMI, DVI and no DP. The display sucks only on HDMI, no matter what cable or if i'm using the monitor with my PS4 or PC.
I bought the game on 30.07.2025 and the DLC a few days later, the game ran much smoother before i bought and installed Phantom Liberty.
Now, with Patch 2.3, it runs better than last night since i've enabled Transformer model and DLAA, thx for fixing the foliage shadow flickering!
I played with the settings, but it didn't had any impact on the performance, my CPU is just running at 95% in some areas and dropping to FPS down to stuttering, even in areas where that didn't happened before, as if files got damaged or some cache or something by playing more and more.
