i've been playing for 40 hours, but besides scripted main story i haven't seen rain or thunder
i want bladerunner rain atmosphere at night :(
i am not asking for acid rain or hellfire, just casual rain

or is it ultra rare ?

It rained once in the prologue when you are in a car with Jackie driving you to your apartment and that's it. That is how immersive the game was as advertised!

Ive had rain appear outside a mission. The rain at night gave a really cool cyberpunk vibe..

It might be just rare.

It would be rare, it's So Cal. How much does it rain in LA?

But the roads are most of the time wet or those roads are just shiny?

So it's rained for some of you outside of actual story moments? Why is the road wet though if it's not or has not previously rained? This has to be a bug.

In 20 hours of playtime I've never had it rain (or any weather) except during scripted missions/sequences.

That is to say, I've never seen weather when I was just out walking doing random stuff.

Roads stay wet after rain and do not get dry unless I restart the game

40+ hours here no weather events AT ALL (outside the scripted one)
No fog, no rain, no sick looking fog (yellow brownish), no sandstorm... they were all promised and shown before.
It's either a bug (i guess given the state of the game) or they were cut altogether.

Where are these damnit? The game supposed to give vibes like this.

Rain is just a filter, it doesn't even interact with the roads. It's just like a placeholder

There's all types of weather, even in the desert. Here's a sandstorm that randomly came by.

Finished the game already with 4 different endings. Got the rain about 4-5 times at most. But seing as NC is in the middle of a desert I don't find it too odd.

I've seen plenty of rain, from light drizzle to heavy storms. I've also seen heavy fog. These happened during missions but also just randomly while walking around the city.

In 26 hours I haven't seen ANY weather effect outside of the scripted one when in the car with Jackie. That scene actually got me excited despite the poor graphics quality and general blurry visuals. As a Cali kid born and raised, I'm confused why there are no weather effects when, to contrary belief, we DO, in fact, have dynamic weather here... and also, the devs promised dynamic weather so we should have it anyhow.

Same with me, 43 hours in, don't remember it raining other than scripted scenes. Would be nice if we had a setting to control the frequency of weather events.

It lightly rained for me about 10 hours in or so, and at one point I came out of a building to find the streets wet, so that's another, I guess. Would be cool if the whether was a little more dynamic though. Has anyone gotten acid rain yet?
I'm playing on a high-end PC, too, so it's not a matter of settings getting in the way or anything. It's sort of strange.
