Not ATARI!

I think that Namco Bandai Partner would be great for Europe, they have take all RPG that published by Atari, except The Witcher :teeth:

Atari will be a publisher in North America, CD Projekt in Poland and Central Europe, 1C-SoftClub/Snowball Studios in Russia. RED still talks with publisher on Western Europe. It's official information, unfortunately it's only in Polish:http://www.cdprojekt.pl/news/5316/Gra_Wiedzmin_2_Zabojcy_Krolow_oficjalnie_zapowiedziana

The only decent publisher to go with these days is Blizzard. :DEA is fucked with their new C&C4 drm, Activision is the money grubbing evil corporation that fired the head devs for the Call of Duty series, so yeah, the only real big dev left is Blizzard.CDPR, PLEASE ASK BLIZZARD TO PUBLISH THE WITCHER 2!!

Oh noooo... 'cause then we won't get The Witcher 2 released until a minimum, that's *MiNiMuM*, of 10 years pass from The Witcher 1's releaseall because of "balance issues" or some other junk like that. No ways, uhuuuh, no thanks...

Atari is publisher for North America. Western Europe is not decided yet.http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/53888/The-Witcher-2-Assassins-Of-Kings-Officially-Announced

Let me confirm:North America - Atari Inc.Russia - 1C-SoftClub/Snowball StudiosCentral Europe - CD ProjektWestern Europe - not decided yet

I don't know but is ATARI that bad?The greatest gift, the only gift, that a good publisher needs to give the dev's is time. And by looking at the release date for this game, it doesn't feel like ATARI is putting RED under pressure.

What??? no publisher for UK??? I get my games there :-\

Some people is saying EA is better 'cause DragonAge doesnt have DRM, BUT as I can see, DragonAge is one exception (as for ME2)... look at the brand new C&C 4, where is said you will have to be online even to play a single player campaign... :mad:I dont mind having the original disc on the drive, as long as the game doesnt made me go online to play and doesnt impose a X installs limit, I will buy it for sure! dont matter the publisher!

DAO PC still uses Securom DRM - it's just it's the disc needed in the drive style DRM (without install limits).Same goes for ME2 PC.I prefer that over most modern crap-tastic DRM styles.EDIT:Oh yeah - Blah @ C&C4 PC's DRM and the new UbiSoft DRM.Bleh, bleh, bleh.

So, CDPR will publish their game in Germany? Or what is ment by "central europe"?

Too bad Atari's still publishing. As a company they deserve to go bankrupt. I recall CDP was not too happy with their relationship with Atari(hence their search for new publishers). I guess they were unable to find a decent publishing deal and so decided to continue their old working relationship. I remember Starbreeze Studio devs(the guys behind the Riddick games) saying how the recession had made it difficult for game developers to find publishers even if they had a solid track record. As for EA, while I do not think they're quite as bad these days as they used to be, from what I've heard about the Dragon Age expansion it's better off if CDP didn't approach them for any RPG titles.
