apparently all of us are getting glitched after getting the GIFT quest where it wont give you new quickhacks because of itSometimes after hack, there is glitching text (looks like on purpose) in the reward list under legendary hacking components. When this is displayed, you get quick hacks?
hello how would I be able to send a ps5 save data here ?Someone can uload save game from ps4/ps5? I can edit such saves, but I don't have a game for console.
I would like to check if it is possible to do the same as on pc
i read your comment I been trying everything to get rid of the ping glitch , it is the most confusing thing everSomeone can uload save game from ps4/ps5? I can edit such saves, but I don't have a game for console.

Is there a way to make CDred aware of this bug ? like where do we go to notify them that this bug exist ? it has affected a lot of people and I doubt they know with the pressure they are getting for the game now .It's really a shame that we can't get legendary quickhacks without crafting them atm. My boyfriend has all the legendary quickhacks without specing into datamine viruoso. The difference was he had a blue ping prior do doing the nix quest and therefore the bugged one never made it to his active cyberdeck. This was on the 1.04 patch.
Your linked post is pretty much what I've experienced too. I saved in front of the access point, hacked all 3, and checked to see if I had any new quickhacks. I reloaded the save and repeated the process 30 times-- didn't get a single quickhack. Now, I've gotten mostly everything I wanted in the game with the exception of these legendary quickhacks, so I left the gig near arasaka tower tp point unfinished because it has five or so 10 INT access points for whenever they decide to fix this. As long as you don't finish the gigs with high INT access points, you won't be locked out of the building and can still go back to do them.
This was pretty much my compromise.
did you do the GIFT QUEST ?I sold all the quickhacks in my inventory and tried hacking a few 10, 8 data points and suddenly the epics started popping into my inventory. no legendaries though. I'm at lvl 14 so perhaps it's too early for them to show up?
what level where you , pleaseI'm reiterating but for context I'm on 1.04. It wasn't a problem for me, I had one of each level of ping for most of my play through, and got the quest ping early on because of my build, when I got extras I sold them. I was still getting plenty of quickhacks from access points, though they definately only started showing up once I hit a certain level.
so Basically save the console save to a usb and send you a private message ?@cykoudantes just upload on googledrive etc and send to me link
I couldn't tell you sorry, I wasn't wasn't paying much attention to which quickhacks I had and the ones I had were so crap and I couldn't purchase any that I just went with a rifle. Quickhacks become massively overpowered in the endgame especially with legendary ping. I was probably somewhere around character level 20 and quickhack level 12, but thats more or less a guess.what level where you , please
man it's been a headache , I have not received a quick hack for a long time now . I think is because of the ping glitch , I am disheartened to restart after 60 hoursI couldn't tell you sorry, I wasn't wasn't paying much attention to which quickhacks I had and the ones I had were so crap and I couldn't purchase any that I just went with a rifle. no I been testing todayYou could be getting quickhacks but they're the same as what you have or at a lower level, if you go to a retailer and buy/sell you could see a bunch of the same quickhacks listed in your inventory.
wait so you actually didn't get quickhacks regardless of the GIFT quest?I completed "The Gift". I had only done it recently while I was finishing up side missions. I already had a blue ping equipped so the green quest one never got equipped and wasn't in my inventory. I was also not getting ANY quickhacks from access points. I decided to delete all of my extra unused hacks and the blue ping. After exiting the inventory menu and then going back into it, then all of the sudden the green quest ping showed up as a new item, and this is way later. So, I re-loaded an old save... Level 29 instead of 34 so not too long ago but before I did "the gift". I still don't get squat from access points. Meanwhile I have a friend at level 30 who got his whole Deck legendary in one night. I don't get it. It CAN'T just be the ping hack from "The Gift". I have NEVER got any hack from a terminal by the way. Really sucks.
can I please know what your friend has done to be able to get quickhacks ?has he messed with the GIFT quest ? or any other change that you could see from your character right now ?I completed "The Gift". did you try getting thE VIRTUOSO perk for getting the hacks ? without doing the gift quest to test , please?I completed "The Gift". I had only done it recently while I was finishing up side missions. That lines up with some comments I read on youtube regarding players which claimed, that they resetted skillpoints and were able to loot quickhacks again from access points afterwards. Maybe there is just a certain order in which these skills have to be learned to make it work again.I did al lot of testing during the last three days. I couldn't fix the issue, but I thought sharing my findings will help someone out further investigating the problem.
Since most people believed, that the Quest "The Gift" is the culprit - I laid my focus on reverting this quest and the "bugged" green Ping. But neither removing the "bugged" ping via Save-Editor or console or resetting the quest steps via console commands (including removing the journal entry of the finished quest and all related quest facts and finishing it again) does nothing to fix the issue. And on a side note: The "bugged" ping is always in your inventory - it just gets invisible when you have another ping quickhack in your inventory. When you sell all other ping quickhacks it gets shown again. But again, it does not seem to have any influence on the issue.
Since this was not successful, I tried to find out at which point during my playthrough the problem started. I have over 950 savegames in like 1-5 minute steps (yeah I know, but I play a lot of bethesda games - having a lot of savegames is like a good habit for me).
I had a savegame before and after "The Gift" Quest - in both instances getting quickhacks worked fine.
The basic testing methodology was:
- load savegame
- give my char enough attributes points + perk points to max out the hacking tree and get all skills in breach protocol (including datamine virtuoso)
- teleport to a known good location with 6 level 10 access points
- hack everything and check inventory to verify If I got any new quickhacks (including checking at a vendor)
As you might guess, this was pretty time consuming.
What I found out:
After like 300 savegames it just stopped working. I have 2 savegames 1 minute apart from each other, where I just walked a few steps further and had a fixer phone call informing me about a new quest - and that's it, nothing else was changed in the savegame. After this point - it does not matter which savegame I load, it just stopped working.
After a lot of testing it seems that there are some random points in the game where after you learned the perk "datamine virtuoso" at a certain time it will either work or it will not. The dependencies are unclear for me - and without proper testing tools it will be impossible for me to find the real underlying problem.
I even found out that in some of my earlier saves it does matter to learn the skills in the "right order". There I learned "datamine virtuoso" before completing the first perk in the tree where you can disabe cams (only had one of two points in there). And it didn't work - after reloading and learning the skill in another order it started working. I retested this 5 times and the outcome was always the same. But again it can still be coincidence.
What it boils down to: I have no clue under which conditions it stops working and when. It can be basically everything. But "The Gift" Quest or the "bugged" ping didn't make a difference for me. The problem arises a lot later in my playthrough seemingly random. I will also not testing further - I will just give me the quickhacks I need via console command and that's it. A shame that PS and XBOX players don't have that option.
Sadly this worked only on one of my older savegames (one of the early ones). That lines up with some comments I read on youtube regarding players which claimed, that they resetted skillpoints and were able to loot quickhacks again from access points afterwards. Maybe there is just a certain order in which these skills have to be learned to make it work again.
