I just recently got into anime and FMA is on my to watch list.

But some beautiful music from Naruto may perhaps also satisfy you a bit

Never watched Naruto, or Fairy Tale or Bleach or any other 100+ episode anime series. Don't really have the time or the interest.

But FMA:B is the best shounen Anime I've ever seen and perhaps my favorite anime series to date. And I put emphasis on favorite. Cowboy Bebop is still hands down the best series I've ever seen. The soundtrack is also so much better. I only like the FMA:B soundtrack in the context of the awesomeness of the series. But Bebop's soundtrack is fantastic on its own.

If that makes any sense..

@eskiMoe FMA:B is maybe my favorite anime ever, or at least the most emotionally involving on my side, I can't even...

Now, regarding the most motivational/awesome ones, based Toriyama actually made one of the best Maximum the Hormone song into the new Dragon Ball Z movie (rumor has it that the song itself inspired him to make the new movie):
