Now playing [music]

I hate war movies because they show the ugly part of human history/nature although they are a reminder of why war conflicts should be avoided.
in fact, me too, now I Hate war movies. my companion, at 17, decided to become a soldier, graduated from Westpoint, Officer, because he had seen a war movie [...]. from 1999 to 2017 he served his country {USA}.
I was devastated when he told me, the day we first met, that he had joined the army because a war movie.
"they did it, I can do it"; this was his state of mind in 1998.
now he sleeps on the floor in the bedroom, having nightmares every night.
the Unfortunate Veteran {my companion} , in CP-2077, would be called as a {Cyberpsycho}.

I choose for that the logical music;
This 2nd movement of Beethoven's 7th symphony reminds me of a person, who after a battle, walks on the field of horror, surrounded by dead for their homelands. Human disaster in its ugliest form; {War}.

{young people who do not know each other fighting on behalf of people who know each other}

I think, sound familiar...? :)
Written in 1984 by Joëlle Kopf and Christian Dingler, at EMI, this song was a great success in the 1980s.

The title is composed of a series of chords widely used in rock music. The guitar riff and rhythm, as well as the melody (except for the expressive modulation of the chorus) bear a resemblance to The Passenger by Iggy Pop, composed by Ricky Gardiner, released on the album Lust for Life, in 1977 that is, seven years earlier. This suggests a simple revision by a professional musician, the musical input (apart from the lyrics) being limited to the level of the chorus and the arrangement.

And the original, obviously :)

Double Bass is also good, whatever the "base" music :)
I did not know at all. I was speechless, incredible but true. I love AC-DC, in this cover it's so great; what to say other than {magnificent interpretation}

...with a touch of humor. when you wake up, it really makes you happy.
Thank you !

Even though I appreciate, I have simply "pasted" the link :)
But yes, I am always impressed by the dexterity that it takes to play these instruments (violin/double bass). And I must admit, they are really really talented... they also consume lot of horse-tail hair :D

O yes :eek:, I thought of musical instruments, tortured, the archer of the cello who lost a lot of horsehair. I hope that they are not too expensive instruments. such an interpretation o_O to the cellos gives many constraints which are not, I dare say, of the time. :D

Some good subtle score from a good movie, from a good composer:

Best piece (at least for me) from old Miami Vice:

Lyrics to the one above:

"Look at what's happened
While the world fell asleep
Gliding like west
Kneeling to the east in search
My chest just beneath
Where blood runs deep
And heart is an organ
Which pumps for sound
Bent red in deep deep pain
I'll remember
I'll remember what I've seen
And become awake
From the sun rising."

S.P.O.C.K (Acronym of "Star Pilot On Channel K", since calling them selves "Mr. Spock" would have cost them a huge amount of money) a Star Trek based/influenced Swedish synthpop band from 1988 (and they still exist today, doing gigs and everything, but have as far as I know not made any new music in the past 20 years).

S.P.O.C.K - Never trust a Klingon

S.P.O.C.K - Take Me To The Stars

S.P.O.C.K. Alien Attack

S.P.O.C.K - Not Human

S.P.O.C.K - All E.T.s Aren't Nice

Not everything they make is based on Star Trek... they do dabble in other franchises as well. :)

Since I can only post 5 media links though... even if I tried adding these last two in a new post... I will just give the names to the two songs I intended to also add.

S.P.O.C.K. - Stormtrooper

S.P.O.C.K - E.T. Phone Home

hah! I wonder how many variations are there. :) this sounds a little like a reggae version of the song :D Nice!
It's almost like - don't invent the wheel, recycle and experiment with the wheel instead. :cool:

(oh, wait, just realized ALL of those songs ARE o_O the same)
