I can't find an English translation of these lyrics. It's a song about a young man who tries to get a pearl for his beloved but gets eaten by a cruel tiger shark, leaving the girl standing on the beach alone.

(And yes, it's quite old like the audio quality suggests. 1955. )
I don't really know why I like the song so much.
