How does she even do that?

Practice, practice, practice. And a substantial gift to start with.

La Bartoli has the most amazing rapid-fire diction. Other singers fuzz the consonants in an effort to make the music sound "prettier" or get all the words in. Not her. Every note, every consonant is front and center.

Classical singing (here, oratorio) is extremely physical work, not made easier by wearing period costume. Even singers who carry excess baggage have rock-hard abs underneath.

I told you guys I'd get back to the Blues, but I.. uh.. I gotta post this. Dunno.

This is a very talented musician. He is Canadian, his name is Antoine Dufour. I have always thought that this percussive/fingerpicking style of guitar playing is so very interesting.

Here is an amazing album by John Butler. Bluegrass and alternative rock feel. And Reggae. And Blues. And American Folk. Oh whatever. :p

I'm leaving you with that, and I'm off to the exams. See you guys later.
