NPC Pop-in STILL NOT FIXED

This was the single fix I wanted to see. The number of popping NPCs is reduced, true, but most of them still appear out of nowhere in Oreton, and many many places. Good job.

Yup, can confirm. It's somewhat improved but nowhere near to be satisfactory.

It's still pretty much like this:

I went to this place to see if 1.07 did improve anything at all and while one(!) of the NPCs faded in properly at a considerable far distance the remaining ones kept "popping in" up close.

Still the same problem. I guess CDPR doesn't really care to fix it anymore at this point. We've been showing ever since 1.04 and now, 3 patches later, it's still the same.
Patience is wearing thin.

still not fix. crap popping in like 10 feet away really breaking immersion, especially when they are missing body parts or textures they suppose to have. More scary than the Wild Hunt.

1.8.3

NPCs still popping in all over the place, even in small villages (like where you fight jenny the wraith). NPCs popping in when you are 5 feet away.

This is pretty upsetting.

Go try the tweaks over in the "Compendium of Tweaks" thread, and if that doesn't help (And it likely won't, I still firmly call placebo), then sadly you just have to join the rest of us who have come to accept it.
It exists because of the engine and middleware implementation, and there's really nothing we can do about it. Its been yelled at CDPR enough times that if they aren't already actively working to fix the issue, then it's simply something that's never going to be fixed. It sucks, it annoys me just as much as you, but we just have to deal with it, and if it's something that really severely hampers your enjoyment of the game, then I would in future be weary of CDPR's products since they'll also be using the same engine (And likely middleware also).
