Numbers of damage

It seems not possible to turn off popup numbers of damage above enemy's heads. Every time I hit enemy I see these consolish & annoying numbers. Is there any way to turn it off?
Btw - Really really GREAT GAME!

I'd also like an opion to turn them off, or at least change the font. I guess there will be mods for that

You're not allone! Hope CDP hears us. I mean they disable them in the Trailers too, don't they? So they should know it kills immersion!

Call me crazy, but this is important to me too. I played through both Witcher: EE and Witcher 2 twice, with damage numbers turned off! Having them turned on is just pulling me out of the game every time a fight happens. It seems like such a quick and easy option -- it was in both the other games!
