Will NVidia release a new driver update for The Witcher 3 to improve the use of GameWorks?
No mention about GameWorks specifically but this game has been optimized for it.Will NVidia release a new driver update for The Witcher 3 to improve the use of GameWorks?
What? The 980 is 15-20% faster on average than a 970. That is just a fact. I could quote many of the benchmark threads on the overclockers UK forums which show the same thing for example.@Eptesicus
Note that Aandtech is the only commonly referenced website where one can find these figures.
It's nice that you ignored my point. An OC'd 970 is almost identical to a stock 980. And since they judge performance based on stock numbers my point is valid. Why can't the OC'd 970 be expected to handle something that a stock 980 can? This is utter bobbins as it is a bit disingenuous to use the percentage that it is behind ( and even then 8% is wrong).
A 980 is 15-20% quicker than a 970 and they both overclock equally as good as each other.
Do the maths http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1355?vs=1351
Most put the 980 around 15% ahead, if not more,( and up to 35% in the synthetic benchmarks)
Config files has some settings like: HairworksAALevel=8From this I can see that devs heard my call : http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide#the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-blur-and-motion-blur
"Three HairWorks options are on offer in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: "Off", "Geralt Only", and "All".
But still something is missing. We want: creatures only option + Geralt only. So we are stuck now with the Geralt hair only, or the usual everything is on + Geralt Hair. We want to have default Geralt hair + animals only option for betetr look and betetr performance. Thanks.![]()
Sorry, but this is very difficult to take seriously. Reddit is reddit, fair enough, but the other one? How many junk articles do they write every month? It seems CDP disappointed a lot of fans:

And some other place that's just clickbait
Not a good comparison, the first Titan is may be the worst card ever made when it comes to perf/price ratio. It seems that not only AMD users suffer. Any GeForce not from current generation can't run Hairworks properly. With Hairworks on, 2013's Titan(1000$ gpu) perform worse than GeForce 960 worth 200$
can anyone confirm this will imrpove fps if we reduce the Hairworks AA level ? or is it just not worth bothering over ?Config files has some settings like: HairworksAALevel=8
NVIDIA's tweaking guide has a bunch of comparison GIFs if you scroll down. How is Hairworks supposed to look like on monsters etc? I cant see if it is working or not. I have it set to On. (I have a Nvidia 780 ti geforce)
It looks amazing on Geralt. But on monsters the hairs on them is barerly moving. It moves a little, but not much, I was under the impression the hair would flutter like crazy in heavy wind etc?
Hm yes the hair looks like that but its not swaying that much or nice like in the video. For example in start of the game when you find the dead Griffin his hair is just still. And when you fight the Griffin you can see the hair swaying a tiny amount (even if you pause the game I have noticed that hair moves, even geralts a bit when everything else is paused). But it does not move in any way as much or like that nice as in this video, on dead bodies it seems completely still even when it is very windy in the game, what could be wrong?NVIDIA's tweaking guide has a bunch of comparison GIFs if you scroll down.
