Unfortunately, after some deep analysis by such a PC enthusiast as myself, the graphics do not make you fall to your knees anymore. "
Fall to my knees is right. The original graphics I saw looked ahead of its time, almost too good to be this gen. My concern was that the level of fidelity we saw in earlier footage would be locked away entirely, possibly enabled through ini editing or code-diving, or maybe outright impossible to access? I don't know why they'd not just let us turn everything up as far as we wish and let the frame-rate suffer accordingly?
Then again, a promise is a promise, but it still presents the question of why they took things down a notch in the first place.
