I don't think such decisions can be influenced by what people might say on the Internet. I think the decision to delay the game was being discussed at CDP for a certain time now. The trailer "debacle" might have been the final straw, though.

I'm not going to lie, there was over the top complaining here which was counter productive to say the least. But there were bad, offensive, downright insulting posts from both sides here, ignoring that is unfair. Ultimately, if this thread really achived the delay I can say I'm happy with the effect it's had.

I think a lot of people here are very pessimistic. The game is not finished yet and they're working on optimization. I saw some upgrades on different textures. Some other textures look awful, but CDPR is working on it, so textures or effects are being modified. We will be able to say "DOWNGRADE" when the game will be released but not before.

A delayed game is not always eventually good though. Stop with the horse shit quotes please. There's plenty of delayed games that still ended up bad.

I'm just concerned because when responding to the downgrade claims, CDPR said "just look at out 35 minute gameplay for proof of how awesome it is".
They seemed to have forgotten that people have already been complaining for a while about how the 35 minute demo was a "downgrade" in itself.
It is just a weird situation..one trailer is a "downgrade" of another trailer, which itself is a downgrade of a different trailer, which itself is a downgrade of a demo, which itself is a downgrade of a debut gameplay trailer. Eventually the game will just be a bunch of shapes and sounds lol.
But seriously though, I am trying not to take sides. I just don't understand why they would show unfinished parts of the game in screenshots and trailers

Well ,now you can stop your complains about downgrade because CDPR got time till may , when the game will be released.
Still going to be downgraded whether it's in May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. They bit off more then they can chew and I think this is going to flop compared to the expectations.
