October the gaming month?

Hey all, just noticed that some of my fav games are getting releases in october for some reason, is it a sweet spot of development?

Dark Souls 3 DLC - October 24th(5th?)
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - October again.
Gwent closed beta - October yet again.

September seems to be a dry month for gaming ~_~.

What are you all doing until then? Also i hope i can make it into the closed beta, Hearthstone needs healthy competition.

October is SUPER busy this year. I was planning spend a lot of time with Gwent in September before October comes and unfortunately CDPR moved BETA for most busiest month of the year for the players.

* FIFA 17, NBA2k7 and PES 2017 end of September (you still will be playing at October, is not something you finish in one week)
* Forza Horizon 3 (End of September)
* Mafia III (7th October)
* Gears of War 4 (11th October)
* PlayStation VR (13th October)
* Battlefield 1 (21st October)
* Civilization VI (21 st October)
* The Last Guardian (25th October)
* GWENT BETA (25th October)
* The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Remaster (28th October)
* Titanfall 2 (28th October)
* World of Final Fantasy (28th October)
* Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (Beginning of the November)
* Dishonored 2 (Beginning of the November)
* Watch Dogs 2 (Beginning of the November)
* Gran Turismo Sport (Beginning of the November)
* Final Fantasy XV (November)

I'm not interested with all of them but lots of gamers are. And GWENT been placed in the middle of this crazy tornado.
September was perfect time.

Holy shit! :O that's a lot of games! Busy month is really an understatement.

Yes, but fortunatly gwent has two advantages all those games do not:

1: It's free
2: It's not RELEASING in October.

Assuming they do not plan on monetising beta aspects, this is for want of a better word to test balance and server issues before a real launch if I read it right. Long as they get enough players to test those things and keep the community alive, they should be fine untill a ACTUAL launch.
