Offline achievements

I'm wondering if non-steam versions will have achievements of any sort?

I don't really see the point of achievements when they are offline. But nevertheless, about the non steam version, cdpr will probably release their game with the Galaxy client from GOG.com for copies bought there. But iirc nothing is known about that yet.

I just like something to aim for, sometimes it makes me aware of content or things to do that I otherwise would have missed. I don't care for the more arbitrary/silly achievement stuff, though, it should be stuff you could end up doing from playing normally.
