Ogniem i Mieczem - an original compostion

Hey all, I figured since many of you Witcher fans are Polish and can therefore appreciate Polish stuff, I thought I'd share this. My younger brother is a huge fan of Henryk Sienkiewicz's novels. He is also a violinist, and composed and performed this piece as a companion to Ogniem i Mieczem (With Fire and Sword). Enjoy!

Cool. It captures the atmosphere and soul of the novels pretty well! Almost made me want to re-read those ancient tomes, buried somewhere between Cortazar, Houellebecq and Borges :) Thanks for sharing!

Sweet. Yes, it goes well with the story, and it's a fine composition just on its own.

Does he play many double stops, or is there a second performer, or did he record a second track? He gets a lot of sound out of his instrument.

(For those of us who haven't experienced the popularity of Sienkewicz's Polish epics, he is most widely known for Quo Vadis.)

Impressive.

Not on the same topic, but I found a nice rendition of "Far Over The Misty Mountains" theme from the upcoming "Hobbit":

From what I read in the description, there are 2 people playing.
