hello everybody.

do the oils now work as they should in the witcher 2 ee? do they have any effects, even if they are used with the silver sword?

I believe they do. Last week I finished one of my recent play-through and the oils worked without a glitch. Any specific problem you're having?

It's an old bug: oils didn't do anything (well, they got used up) when applied to the silver sword.

I believe it was fixed in one of the early patches. It's long gone in EE.

Thank you for the fast replies. I read something about this issue on this board. this glitch still remained after patch 2.0 for some people so I was wondering if the developers fixed it in the final ee.

Yes that was an issue with 2.0 but not EE . Apply an oil and watch the combat log with and without oils and see the difference .

well that sounds good so far. looks like the changelog from patch 3.0 doesn't tell us everything. by the way, has anyone tested if the silver throwing daggers inflict more damage to monsters now? i would test it myself but my xbox needs to be repaired. :-S

aaah, there it is. i' ve found some hints for the dagger-issue on the ee bug list, page 2. the problem is that they are not proven yet. maybe this glitch hasn't been fixed until now, so is anybody able to confirm this?
