I bought this game a few years ago and my PC at the time barely ran the game, but it was playable....and I loved it. Now that a few years have gone by and I have long since gotten rid of that old PC, I want to play it again on my newer, better PC.....however, it seems my activation key is still tied to my old PC. Since I registered with my email address at the time of initial purchase, is there a way y'all could help me get this working again on my new PC?

Just download the following patch manually, which removes the game's DRM system, and then the launcher should get the other updates automatically:

Keep in mind that there are some very big updates available for the game, 10+ GB. If you want to get a fully patched version of the game, without having to download updates through the launcher, you can get a free digital version by using your CD Key here: http://www.gog.com/witcher/backup

This will give you access to a fully updated digital version of The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition, which you can download from gog.

So...115MB for the patcher....10+ GB of updates through the launcher.....that's doable...I can let it update overnight.

I highly suggest just doing a fresh download off GOG, you can leave it overnight without hassle. Whereas with the launcher option you might be prompted to install a patch first before moving on to the next, while you're sleeping.
