haha. i predict cyberpunk 86 (yes 86 will be the sequel cause it sounds cooler) will be bigger better and more badass than cyberpunk 2077 oh and the boss battles will be be fixed.

You know what sounds cooler than Cyberpunk 86? Cyberpunk 2088. But seriously, Marcin Iwinski and a CDPR member both mentioned the possibility of it existing a Cyberpunk 2078 and 2079. Marcin Iwinski mentioned this jokingly in a interview, while the CDPR member mentioned it when asking the /r/cyberpunkgame community about what they think of the cyberpunk communities' names and which one was better hmmm weird I was just looking for this reply on reddit and the thread is not there anymore hmmm
THEY DELETED IT Oh no, am I going too deep into this conspiracy? o_O!

It's a big city with millions and millions of people. They don't necessarily need to do a time jump at all between subsequent games, there's plenty of potential for gameplay and storytelling. The games might even all happen during the same period of time.

Could be neat if in "Game 2" you'd see (if you were at the right place in the right time) the protagonist of the previous game at times in his/her storyline or see it in the news or hear about it from other characters who'd been in touch with him (it might be some default actions or perhaps even save transfer for looks and more specific choices).

And similiarly in "Game 3".

The games could basically all be called "Cyberpunk 2077" and when ready, form a sort of "one whole". Kind of like the first ("host") game getting two full game sized expansions.

Hopefully the single player aspect could also be open ended instead of having a definitive one ending for all. Yes if the multiplayer is implemented right, it could give much more replay value to what I hope will be an very deep game even without it.

One thing I do hope, that if the PvE and PvP overlap and you will use your main character for both, is that your characters level progression and gear acquisition is not strictly tired to the games plot entirely so that you can just play the game and make PvP focused builds fairly quick without it being a separate MP mode and without having to spend tons of time in story missions and dialog if you've already done it on another build for example. Assuming it all works that way.

One thing I'd like to see is the ability to continue to use your character in future game in the CP2077 franchise.
It always slightly bothered me that you skilled up Geralt in W1 then he forgot everything he'd learned then you did it again in W2 and W3 (yes, there were changes in the skills between games, thus I can see part of the reason for Geralts amnesia.).

For all of it's other issues, I thought bioware was really onto something with Dragon Age Keep and carry over between games. I'd be happy if this applied to more than just story choices. However, this is assuming any possible sequels would have the same character as the PC.

Yep, at the VERY least some of the actions you took in previous games had an effect on your current one. That gave you a feeling what you did mattered.

I remember doing this with my characters from the D&D Gold Box games in the 80's (the Krynn and Pool of Radiance series for me). Next time I saw it is when you could carry your main character over in Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, and it's always been one of my favorite things about CRPGs. But I also understand why so many games don't handle it this way.

Bioware's methodology is cool for continuity purposes, but the actual impact on the gameplay was pretty superficial (especially in Inquisition). Don't get me wrong here, I'd rather have it superficially than not have it at all. I think it creates a problem for sequels, though: if done full-on -- it means much of the content in sequels simply won't be available to most players. For more than just combat skills and gear to carry over, it means the game, plot, and possible outcomes need to be exclusive to certain decisions made during the previous game. (Or it needs to not matter to the actual gameplay, like DA:I). I'd love that, but I can see many players that want to "do everything in the game" not loving the idea of having to start over multiple times.

It would be great to have a thread about this.

I would add the ability to print off a hard copy of the cyberpunk 2077 character and be able to use it in the ( supposedly) up and coming version of the Cyberpunk PnP. To me, as a long time PnP gamer, this would be epic!

CDPR once said they planned to have this option in CP2077.
No clue if they're still intending to have this feature in the game.

I don't. I was most likely drunk, and every year just fades into every other year.

I'd be jealous but your lack of a natural way to keep your head warm during Canadian winters explains a lot.

Humm ... same with Vattier to a lesser extent ... that a requirement to be a moderator?

(( P.S. Hope it was a good trip! ))
