Careers instead of classes sounds interesting. Not sure how I feel about the plot taking place over the characters' entire lifespan though, cause in that case it wont be cyberpunk 2077. It will be Cyberpunk 2077-2122

Like you said, take it with a grain of salt.

I work at CDPR too, and I call this bullshit.

But that's how I see the Role working (maybe not "only one role can play 1mission"), but having the gameplay directly related with your main skills when it comes to "what are you usefull to?" would be logical.
So I think it would be great, but this guy doesn't work at CDPR obviously, unless proved otherwise, anyone can take the source book and extrapolate anything from it.

Gladly for you Im not, otherwise, given my amazing programing skill, expect a lazy RPG Maker port.
And I'd be like : "Meh, people are never happy anyway, my game is great, look, you can scroll up, scroll down, even scroll that godamn thing on the side, you're not going to see something like that anywhere else, this is a true rpg, everything you do has an impact... Well maybe not in the game itself, but your character move, so does the screen, and that's a pretty fair point.".

The plot would be really amazing, like, you're in prison and can't get out, so you just have to wait in real time.

After 3 days, you learn that you are life-sentenced, so you can try to kill yourself (but it's a tricky roll), most of the time, you'll ends up with epilepsy and your character will often have crisis.

After a week (hell yeah, my games are like this, longs, for an epic journey against life itself), you'll be able to go to the library, there's a computer that you can hack, if you succeed (you better do), you'll have to use your charisma to launch a youtube channel about a lot of different choices that your character like (customisation, cool), but none of them are interesting actually, so you really have to work your skills before hand, but watch out, if you do an epileptic crisis during your youtube show it grants your an instant reputation bonus.

Tho, I don't want to spoil you everything, there's a lot more!
I'm sure everyone want to play my game.

There is possibility that CP 2077 will be in 2017, but who knows? Probably even CDPR still dont know, development can bring many unexpected walls and suprises.

I definitely think we will get info on it in 2017 (since this year and next year CD Project Red is focusing on Witcher 3) but will it be released that year?

Personally I would say no.

Who knows... CDPR could pull a Bethesda with Fallout 4, or Firaxis with XCOM 2... where CDPR might basicly gives un no info really for years... where everybody knows they are most likely working on it, but they never really confirm that they are... untill BAM! "CDPR: Oh... by the way guys... we have been working really hard on CP2077 for the past few years, and here is some footage of various things with the game, and what not... oh... and yeah... it will be out in 5 months..."

I mean that is an as effective marketing stratagy as going the route of new news close to every single week for 2 years up untill you finally release it.

After all... when Firaxis dropped their news on XCOM 2 not to long ago, and that we where going to be able to get a hold of it in November, I litterally punched the air in a victory gesture... and that is REALLY unusual for me, even when I am alone where nobody can see me (which I am most of the time)... heck I close to never even celebrated when my friends, or the very few times I, scored goals in Innebandy (Floorball for the none Swedes out there... so most of you... XD ), or won games for that matter, back in the day when me and my friends played some amature stuff of that game. I have never liked to do things like that public or not. XD So yeah...

Can someone from Germany translate Cyberpunk 2077 parts from The-Witcher.de gamescom 2015 interview? Google translate doing shitty job.

-

There's basically no new info there apart from him saying that the CP2077 will take less time to make(the fact that they have announced it back in 2012 doesn't mean they started working on it at that time)since they have learned a lot of things from The Witcher 3.Their focus is now on making The Witcher 3 story DLCs and of course Cyberpunk 2077.

I am probably WAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY behind on this one, what with me basically being afk for about a year, but I did spot this:

http://en.cdprojektred.com/jobs/?job-project=cyberpunk-2077

This is just the 2077 project vacancies at CDPR.

And Wisdom, check out the Senior Vehicle Artist page

I think its also worth checking out this line from the Senior Weapons Designer page:
