He he.

Right now the offices are probably less crowded due to holidays so it will be harder to blend in. Gotta check the ventilation shafts plan :)

perfect! You know what to do, because if videogames taught us anything, than how to use ventilation shafts.....

On topic:
No idea when we will hear more about the game, next week is Gamescom, maybe some guys from CD are there and give an interview, but even if so i wouldnt expect real informations, we would more likely get some answers like: "The development process is going good! "More members are working now on CP" stuff like that nothing special

Well, after recent interview and how CDPR was "impressed" with Fallout announcement I would be shocked if any official info appears on GC (besides usual forced interview answers, "yes we are developing", "yes everything is fine").

I think it's better if they take the time they need before talking about it. Expecially because in the early interviews, devs talk about features that mostly be cancelled in the later development. TW3 is an example. Better if they talk about it only when they are fully ready.

Frankly, the less promises and footage CDPR releases while deciding things, the better.

Post Witcher 3 pre-release nuttiness, I'd say it was clear way too many people take, "we're looking at this right now" as "This is what you'll play!". Followed by acting like betrayed 10 year olds if tht's not what they get.

A demonstration is not a promise. Entitlement is not a life-strategy.

So, yeah, for the sake of our forums alone, I'm fine with the Fallout 4 approach. Minimal to nothing game-play wise until 4 months before or whenever a nearly-finished product is ready.

Talking about it a bit would be nice, though. Preferably here, were we love them.

Im just so sad. Im lurking this forum for a long time now. I remember last year people thought or more like hoped they will start giving us info/artwork whatever, after the witcher 3 release. Sometime later they officially said " 2015 is the Witcher year". Fine, perfectly understandable. They dont want both games to compete with each other. Alright 2016 then, maybe after the two witcher expansions? Nope, then someone again crushed that hope by saying " 2015 AND 2016 are the Witcher years" cant remember who it was. Witcher 3 is a great game, but damn.. i really hope those 2 expansions will be the last.

Another thing, how many people are actually working on CP 2077 right now 50-70? Im really curious how they keep themselves occupied, because i read somewhere the game is nothing more then alot of artwork at the moment. And the game is like at least 2 years in development right? Anyway, at least we will get somewhat of a fix early 2016 with Mankind Divided. Its not Cyberpunk 2077, but HR was good enough.

I read they're not only designing the game (R&D) and doing conceptual work (artworks), but also prototyping their ideas to check their viability to make sure they've good foundation when the game starts gaining shape for real. I wouldn't be surprised if they're running some really basic prototype, throwing a lot of stuff at it all the time.

exactly, all eyes on the Witcher 3 for now, at least until all the dlcs are out, after all CD has to keep the hype of the game up, keeping sales high

I see, yeah makes alot of sense. Is there any info about how we will choose the classes? Will it be more like for example Vtmb were we have to commit to one class before starting the game or after we made the character at some point in the game we can invest into different skill trees, like cop, solo, netrunner or something. I really like the Vtmb approach, that game had alot of replayability. It felt fresh everytime you choose a different class.

"It deserves some rest," Iwinski said about The Witcher series. "The past 10 years the team has been working on swords and castles and medieval Slavic monsters. So I think it's time for some guns, androids, and some ammo. And a necropolis. So this is what we'll be working on."

Here's a crazy theory...they haven't shown anything so far(almost 3 years later)because they haven't made anything and are still prototyping gameplay,we'll not see anything substantial at least until next year's E3 and the game wont be out till late 2017/early 2018.

I'd say odds are, you're right.

And I'd move the release to late 2018, myself.

Necropolis.

Hm.

Strange choice of words. Wonder what that might mean?

Knowing CDPR and magazines, it could have meant anything from "Metropolis" to "Cheese Factory". But it will be fun speculating about it until the next bit of news :)
