Seems like CP2077 will be written fully in Polish and adapted into English after. So, "original-version-only" purists... Learn Polish lang in addition to japanese now until it's too late if you didn't bother with TW1/2/3 before for some reason. :threaten:

Ahhhh it's a damm shame.
i mean if i was polish i would sat "Good Job Taking care of your own first" but the game is meant for the rest of the Globe's markets (which one-third of it understand English)
so it would have been nice if they just wrote the story in English
but then again,it's rude and immature to expect them to make a game in a foreign language and not their own country's language (all this talk of language and patriotism reminded me of metal gear.)

Keep in mind CDPR is in Poland, and while they have people from all over the world working there I'd suspect the majority of their employees are Polish. If the translator is good at their job it doesn't matter in the slightest what language a game is developed in.

The Witcher games were also written in Polish first, naturally.

Keep in mind CDPR is in Poland, and while they have people from all over the world working there I'd suspect the majority of their employees are Polish. If the translator is good at their job it doesn't matter in the slightest what language a game is developed in.

They're translators are fantastic, as evidenced in the English versions of The Witcher games, so there really shouldn't be any cause for concern.

Why are u suprised? They already said first and third person in 2013, and of course there will be real time shooting with skills and other stuff. They are not making isometric game and definitely they are not making turn-based game ala Fallout 1/2 . After three Witcher games u should learn already.

There was some mention of "leak" apparently on neogaf, but nothing really confirmed, if I gots it right. It didn't go further than that, only that the source has "info". And works as personal advisor for Donald Trump.

Was kinda hoping for one central station ( like in Bloodlines) and few smaller ones.

Never heard of this particular leak. I bet it's bogus.

No idea if it's real or bogus (I cba going and looking for it), but even if it's real, then at this stage of the development probably at least 50% of what was said would change anyway. And as we don't know which 50%, the whole thing becomes no more valid than speculation based on "How TW3/CDPR Did Things In The Past".

It's like forecasting the weather - the most accurate low-tech method being "Look outside the window, it'll probably be the same".
