Yeah it's blurry on PC too. It looks like it has a haze or something, similar to how Control looked.
Thx for the intel! Patch sure did something. Game runs a lot smoother and looks not so blurry anymore (while still blurry enough). I wouldn´t go that far saying that this version is a reason to cheer but it sure is quite some progress for one night.
I think much of the game actually looks great on ps4, but the optimization is poor. Pop-ins are the main issue for me.
And in certain areas of Night City, the roads look like they are covered in grainy vasoline.

I have 65inch 4k TV and PS4 Pro and i didnt expect anything like next gen graphics from this game, but rly i was surprised how horrible it looks. I remember 720p games very well too and looks like Cyberpunk 2077 don't even reach to that lvl resolution. Cyberpunk 2077 just looks like s*** on consoles and i think CDPR didn't even try to optimize it for em.
And i know that 1080p = 1920x1080 and 720p = 1280x720 and so on... My first computer was Compaq Presario 486 with 640x480 resolution monitor back in 1993.

Until they fix this game I don't think to play it, it is completely broken even with the 1.04 update, it looks horrible on ps4, almost 20gb of update and the game is almost the same, the 720p resolution of this game. on ps4 it looks like a ps3 game with that resolution and bugs to blankets so much it counts to fix this game on ps4 that people have paid 70 bucks to be able to play it under conditions .. there are many games that look incredible like other games the last us 2 Red Dead Redemption 2 to give examples
Yeah... After yesterday's initial euphoria disillusionment quickly set in here as well. The frame rate seems to be improved at some places in the game but then again worse than before at others. Although I have the impression that the game now holds the resolution more stable and has generally made a step forward visually (i.e. textures load faster and start to deserve the name, graphics are less washed out, more viewing distance), however I yesterday reached a scene during the test play in which a shootout with many NPCs took place - purest slide show with barely recognizable opponents and wild jumping of eveything and everyone on the screen.

I have a graphic problem too. I play on xbox one an started the game on a shitty tv- obviously was the graphic shitty to. I switched to my 4k monitor an the graphic is still the same.... i cant even chance the graphic settings to medium.

After yesterday's patch, I see a minor improvement. But still the game is in an unplayable state, I turned off HDR and it just got worse. Adjusted gamma option, turned off the graphic options and still nothing, this is a critical problem and it cannot be fixed with just a hotfix.
If the game is optimized diff then other games. Guess what also has to be optimized diff the tv.

It's pretty bad on ps4. Kinda reminds me of early DeusEX.. I had high hopes for this game. It's sad on sonys part as they won't give me a refund for digital copy and said to wait for them to patch it. Just might sell the ps4 and build a GPC. Trying to find a rtx3080 for the right price will be tough.
Sony is issuing refunds no matter if you've completed it or hrs played. Once you do then you cannot repurchase until they put back on PS store unless you buy physical copy. Please follow Cyberpunk on twitter for updates.

I wonder if the game would performe better if it were using the frostbite engine. The division pulls of 1080p 30fps on base ps4 with comparable environment detail. Cyberpunk can't menage that even for smaller indoors scenes
Division 2 actually looks amazing. The open world and indoors graphics are detailed and crisp even if it is 30FPS.
Also very highly replayable game. Look at how well they take all the user feedback and so many seasonal updates without additional cost. My god the amount of loot is too much, very inventory management heavy and lots of stats you'll need excel sheet.
Playing on ps4 pro, ...will this ever be anything like what I'd read and seen up to and just prior to release?
For now set: depth of field, film grain and motion blur to off <-- and wait untill CDPR comes up with more optimizations in another patch/update, this will make it way less blurry.
The game will never be like what they showed in gameplay trailers. I mean, look at that 2018 tech demo. I get the feeling you can't (or at least they *won't*) just patch that in. The game has problems at its very core. Unless they pull a complete overhaul of the game I don't see it ever being like what they advertised. Maybe it could be on PC after several more years of constant work, but I can't ever see it ever being more than base game Fallout 4 on the PS4 (or even PS5 if I'm being wholly honest).
