"One More Gig" not available - How to solve this Issue

+
Description:
After finishing one of Cyberpunks Base Game Endings, you cannot get back into the game after exiting end credits. You'll end up on the title screen instead of playing another mission. Meanwhile your last savegame is still during your playthrough of one of the multiple endings. Therefore you have to load an old savegame before your meeting with Hanako because you cannot get back into the game and receive your awards.

Steps to reproduce:
- Meet up with Hanako (Nocturne OP55N1)
- Play an ending of your choice
- Press "B" during the Ending Credits
-- Pressing B results into entering the title screen immediately
--- Tested on different Xbox Controller to exclude Hardware errors

What should happen:
- After pressing B during the end credits, you should be asked if you want to play another mission or get to the title screen

How to solve this issue:

1) Make sure that the manual savegame you use to play "Nocturne OP55N1" is on top of your savegame list.
2) If this manual savegame is not the most recent in your savegame list, you'll run into the reported issue.
3) So ... if you start from an older savegame (from a different playthrough for example), save this manual savegame first before starting "Nocturne OP55N1". Now this older savegame is your most recent savegame.
4) Play the ending of your choice ... "One More Gig" should now be available.

Did you still have the save automatically created at the point of no return?
(named "Point Of No Return", something like that).
If not (if you overwritten/deleted it), the game don't allow you to spawn back just before the point of no return ("One More GIG" button), but just to return to the main menu.

I experienced this on PC with The Tower ending, but I assumed this was a feature of that particular new ending.

Hey!

This issue occures directly after finishing the playthrough, so no savegames are deleted.

Final Scene > Start of End Credits > Pressing Button "B" > Directly sent to Title Screen

Normally "One More GIG" should be available but currently no chance.

And I keep the "Point Of No Return" savegame normally as long as I am back ingame and retrieved my rewards.

Then I save my current game, leave the game and then at last I delete not needed savegames.

Worked for me since launch ... most of the time ... exceptions occured during one or two previous Patches and got fixed.

Kind regards.

I have the same problem, but I've already deleted save game from point of no return; I only have ones from last mission. That means I'm screwed?

Unfortunately, yes :(

You need to have the Manual Savegame before "Point of no return". If you don't have any other Quick or Manual Savegames from that playthrough, then it's sadly lost.

Yeah, so I tried everything except writing to Steam support. Data recovery tool didn't find anything, cloud is already overwritten. Kinda sad, because I wanted to 100% the game and I missed only few activities. It's weird that there's even a possibility like this, to lock yourself up from freeroaming just because you like to have a tidy save list. Well, gotta start another playthrough...

Yep, the whole savegame management is not thoughtout very well. It's not intuitive if you run into the "One More Gig" Issue and it's extremely limited because you cannot assign names or descriptions to your savegames. I tried to use Mods but couldn't get them to work as well and on console I don't have the option of Mods.

On Console I now have the problem that I don't have space for more manual savegames. But it's a limitation of the game itself because I do have a few 100GB of HD Space left on my Series X. It's crazy to me that we even have limitations like that in 2023 ... especially in a game like Cyberpunk with such a high replayability and so many moments you might want to re-experience from time to time. I guess I'll open up a Feature Request ...

I actually think it happened to me too. I pressed blindly the Enter, and the game proceeded to place me back in the city. It looks like the pop up is there, it's just not visible.

Is there a solution to this bug? Or my save file is screwed? I'm experiencing the same problem

Hi, just a quick question.
I did The Devil finale and after it I had the option "One more Gig", so I did the other endings but now that option is not showing anymore, it is a bug or something? I don't have a manual save done before point of no return, is my run screwed?

Do you have the auto-save created just before entering the elevator? (a save named "Point Of No Return" from memory).
Which ending? Phantom Liberty ending doesn't offer to continue your playthrough if I remember, but not 100% sure
