In books Ciri had sexual relationship only with Mistle (a woman from Rats hanza). But during her story Ciri multiple time show romantic interest (and initiative) in men. It's safe to assume, that she is bisexual.
hmmmm i bet, if the story about sequels of the witcher saga starring her as protagonist instead of geralt is true cd project is gonna make some dumbass bioware romance options with her allowing to just fuck whoevers the player wants no matter the sex of the other person involved and use this incongrous never clarified part of ciri's story to make it belivable for players....damn i already hate the tought. not only it's cheap and disgusting per se but it completley destroys the character persona to be able to just fuck everyone, it's only good for the namless toon you build out of nowere in bioware games but if they do such a thing with ciri, and i'm sure they will, i'm gonna be soooo pissed i cannot describe it
You can blame Sapkowski, not CDPR for this. There isn't much to clarify to, as Andrzej Sapkowski was pretty definite about Ciri sexual preferences.
There is even a scene where she is about to have sex with Hotsporn, but he literally dies with his lips around her breast.
So yeah if particular character is bisexual, sex of potential partner doesn't matter.

There is no official info about another sequel to the Witcher games so there's no need to rage about Ciri being hypothetical protagonist and CDPR being hypothetically on the same level as Bioware writers.
1) i'm not irritated i was being sarcastic
2) if she gets the protagonist role since the wirter of the novels diden't mind to properly eplain or clarify this mess as pointed out above this is bound to happen and
3) if it is bound to happen ( and it will ) it will destroy the experience as we know it so far. it will kille the saga i tell you, if dev are gonna go this route they are walking on glass, trust me.

I don't get the hate here, so what if Ciri is a little wild. Spice is the point of life. I would be excited to see her, can someone explain what the freaking out is about beyond a unicorn?
Also, if the devs themselves made a joke about the books taking it too far, clearly they know where to draw the line.
(My bad for not reading & only having skimmed into the translated books yet, I'm buying them in English as they have been released, I am on book 4 currently).

I'm against a sequel starring Ciri and too much focus on Ciri in Witcher 3, and I think the Witcher series should end with Geralt as the protagonist and maintain its focus on Geralt. Ciri is not protagonist material in my opinion as it was demonstrated in the books. I wanted to get done with Ciri portions, and get back to Geralt as soon as possible. I get it that it's my personal opinion, and some people may like Ciri.
If anyone except Geralt is the protagonist of the next Witcher game or there is create your own character thing in there, then I would lose my interest in the series and I wouldn't play it.

See, now that makes more sense. Indeed, I understand the thought of losing Geralt, but even the devs have said this was his finale. I have to respect their decision, for whatever reason. I personally see that they might want to head in another direction, with other characters, or just have Geralt back later (no spoilers meant, no idea what's coming). I'm open to it, and not just limited to the lion cub. I just don't want to leave the idea in the dust for a female Witcher, heck maybe there's even a few characters I haven't found yet, until they (the only online translated books) get released I'll know about, too.
I'm open to the idea of a female Witcher, always have been. In fact, that would be compelling on a number of levels. I've put off the novels for now so I can get the juicy bits about the Wild Hunt and Ciri in game. However, the more I hear about her from forumites I generally trust, the more I feel she's not Sapkowski's best. I don't want a generic power-trip female as a protagonist. I hope she's not that in TW3.
In the books, I thought that Milva was a much better-developed character than Ciri, and I'd prefer to see her as a protagonist in any future game, if they did want a female.

this. 85% of this saga appel for me is geralt. the remaining 15% is the comncept of witcher/mutant in middle age setting.
Ciri is not a witcher a suely is no geralt on any level. a game starring her as protagonist would make me lose 100% interest in the settings by deafould. i would in fact nver nread a novel starring only Ciri as a protagonist. i would probably play a game made by CDPR buy only if it's done like they did the first 3 and don't turn this in some hig fantasy stupidity i can be everything becouse i'm the badass heroine mage/warrior/traveler of time/chosen one/empress of the known world/sex with everyone tool Ciri woul almostu surely tourn out to be if she was the protagonist of a game
