Online mode for Gwent?

How cool would it be if we could play Gwent online against other players?

unless they rebalance the whole thing ... pretty pointless xD

spies are ridiculous (esp. cause a 1dmg spy gives you 2 cards and so does a 9dmg spy)
and there are a lot of other cards (or rather card-combos) that would need some serious re-thinking before it would be a non-frustrating thing to play against other humans (as the AI is pretty stupid and therefore you dont really see the balance problems)

When playing against the AI you usually get a pretty good idea with which fraction it's easier to win. Aside from that playing against another human being comes with the possibility to agree on using the same fraction. So if both players use Scoia'tel cards I see NO issue with that.

So yeah... though some aspects of the game could be a bit more balanced but I'd love to see a standalone version too with multiplayer feature! Be that digital or a real card game.

Maybe they would make it a standalone game, and make it more balanced and add much more cards, seeing how many people like it. Only downside with that is it would probably have microtransactions like hearthstone.

I'd just wrote similar requests over at the Polish side of the forum. I'd pretty much love to see a multiplayer version of Gwent but after the cards get balanced out. I'd possibly even pay for such an option, as Gwent is awesome.

CDP RED - please do MULTIPLAYER GWENT! :)

I would love to see an online - or even a physical cards - version of Gwent. But they would have to massively expand the amount of available cards. Which is very possible, with how huge the Witcher universe is. If they did this, I would actually go back to playing a trading card game - something I haven't done since I was like, sixteen, and Magic: The Gathering started getting popular.

I mean, think about it. How many more cards could there be? Hundreds and hundreds at least. Dudu spy card, Mother Nenneke discard pick-up. I could sit here for hours thinking of them.

To make it a proper card game to play with other people it has to be improved: A LOT. In the current state it would be boring, so, I don't care.
