Just finised reading chapter 11, and I can say that both the novel and the translation is outstanding.

Ok, here we go - got chapter 11 done. I've been working on it for most of the night and its 3:30 am here, so there are probably some typos and mistakes in there. If I have the energy I'll read through it tomorrow or Sunday, proofread it, then swap the link in my post to a better edited version.

Amazing work...if you and Asheral82 are cool with it, I'll post the compiled book later today - haven't properly proofed it (not until after I've read it! ) but it's formatted nicely & spellchecked.

I hope you gentlemen realize just how many people you're making happy with these translations. I am positive there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people who have discovered these translations and enjoyed them without posting or making a user name to do so. Until you guys made an appearance, I had resigned myself to reading one of these books every half decade, but now I can play the Witcher and the Witcher 2 and actually understand all of the big names they throw around, as well as various other references, and it makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

Thank you guys again, and I hope there's some relief in knowing that you're on the home stretch.

I had a friend proof read my checked copy and there are a few minor edits that I will make and then re-post the file but the one already up is pretty solid as is - there are only a few small fixes

Also I realize that I forgot to put Chap 11 on this document so the new post will have the missing chapter - sorry about that oversight.

Hi everyone!! I just wanted to give you all personal thanks and appreciation for the work and effort you have put into these translations. I read the first English book "The Last Wish" and became hooked on the series. I was severely disappointed to find out that not only one other book had been translated, but plans for the second novel are very flakey. Thank you for your translations so i can further my exploration and enjoyment of this world of fantasy and general Kick-assery! Also..Go Dandalion!!

I have finished proofreading the first two chapters of The Lady of the Lake.

I know Ash is working on chapter 3 and Brian on chapter 4.

Is anyone else doing any other chapters - Just so we don't have any overlap.

I do have a question, though: Is there an English translation anywhere of the short story "Droga, z której się nie wraca" (A Road with No Return)?

I see that a translation of Something Ends, Something Begins is available, but, despite questions about A Road With No Return being asked 3 times in this thread, it doesn't look like anyone has provided a link to it. Does anyone know if it has been translated?

Not yet, as far as we know. asheral82 said they'd translate it after Lady of the Lake was finished if no one had done it yet.
