Hey guys, it was only 2 days ago i heard of 'The Witcher'. I randomly came across the trailer for The Witcher 2. Needless to say i was like 'OMG!'. So I bought The Witcher 2 for 360, as I have a Mac and I've heard the first game doesn't always work on MAC, and the gameplay is great.
Anyways, I've looked into it a bit more, and bought the first book (in English) this morning, and have been reading it religiously. It is a great! I Have only ever read two books in my life, both were shortish. I'm not a big reader at all, but this world about 'The Witcher' seems really intriguing. Its a real shame
Anyways, I've not finished 'the Last Wish' yet, but as soon as I do I'll be reading the translations you all have so wonderfully created for us English speaking folk. A big thanks!
My question is, I've read that "the Sword of Destiny' was the first book, with 'The Last Wish' the second. But chronologically 'The Sword of destiny' is after 'the Last Wish'. So I will be reading that next.
The first post that lists all the book translations is just confusing me a little. I see the 5 novels, and the 'The Sword of Destiny', however I am confused as to what 'Limits of the Possible' and ' A Shard of Ice' are. I can;t find them in the wikipedia. Are they to e read before the 5 novels?
Also 'A Little of Dedication', 'The Eternal Fire', and 'Something More' are also confusing me. Is the front page listed in order as what should be read? With 'The Last Wish' coming in behind 'Sword of Destiny', but its not posted because it is already a translated book?
Thanks. I just don't want to miss reading anything from what looks like a great and epic set of novels!
EDIT: After a little bit more research I think I have figured it out. The stories I have listed (that i don't understand) are all put into one book in 'The sword of Destiny'? It would explain quite a lot. Can anyone confirm this? Also should I read them in the order that is on the original post?
Thanks again
