Hey guys, amazing work done here. I'm looking to read all of the books before the last game comes out. I downloaded all of the books from the first post, but found that there was a more recent posting of a Time of Contempt since then. The only other new postings I noticed were edited versions of Baptism of Fire. I have several questions though.

-should the first post links be updated?
-are the translations in the links complete?
-is there anything else I need to read to be up to date?

Is anyone working on the translation of the new book, Season of Storms?

If so, I don't know how far you are with the translating but I just found a .pdf file of the book. I don't know if the language is Spanish of polish... I says Spanish on a page but there is no difference in Google translate. Ofcourse if I knew the polish language I would translate it through Google translate and then touch up on some words... or most words.

So I'm just curious how the community translators go about their business.

Spanish is actually pretty similar to my native language (Portuguese), so if you want to confirm if it's Spanish or not, just send the link to me.

So, after reading most of Sapkowski's books through this topic, I must ask, just like most people... What about Season of Storms? Is it currently being translated, or is it out of volunteers? It seems the first chapter is translated, but is the translation still in progress?

Edit: Ok, I now have changed some thing so the document is available to every one... Before I always got a message I had to share it with people, using their google account. I hope now it can be viewed freely. Any feedback to see if it works would be great.

So will there ever be a fan translation of "A Road with No Return," which is included in the short story collection Something Ends, Something Begins (for clarification NOT the short story of the same name)? It is the only witcher story I have not found an english version of, and its bugging me since its the last witcher/Sapkowski work that I have left to read. It would be deeply appreciated if it happened

First of all Thank you so much to everyone making these translations. Currently reading the Gollancz translation of Time of Contempt and preordered Baptism of Fire, so I'm greatfull for the fan translations of The Tower of the Swallow and The Lady of the Lake as I don't know when or if they are going to be released by Gollancz, sure hope they do get released and within reasonalbe time, so i can buy them ASAP.

Got a couple of questions though.
1. Does anyone know if Gollancz are going to release Swallow and Lake? Maybe they have a e-mail so I could ask them and report back. (Otherwise we can hope they are listed as forthcoming in Baptism.)

2. And as a lot of others have asked is anyone working on translating the rest of Season of Storms? Me and many others would be overjoyed!

Hey ,

Just joined and wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can find the dutch version of the last wish in epub format?
If I can't find them I will buy them in English but it would be easier in dutch.
Apparently the paperback isn't available anymore because they gonna bundle it with sword of destiny so I hope they will then release an epub format.

Are the books even translated to dutch? If so, those will lack even further behind of the english translation. (as in amount of books translated).
If I were you just buy them in english and read the fan translations.

I found the paperbacks on bol.com under "de laatste wens en het zwaard der voorzienigheid"(release 07/03/14). It's bundled as they stopped selling them separately.
I also found references to "de laatste wens" en "Het zwaard van het lot" in ebook format but they also stopped selling those.

A Belgian bookstore states "bloed van elfen" for release on 25/06/14

Something got lost in migration, not translation.

I had recently followed a link to this page from Reddit's witcher 3 subreddit. In the previous OP there were the following links, after migration they were no longer there. I managed to bring them back up in google's cache, so I am trying to bring these back together. If the Mods deleted this on purpose please just remove them.

So after trying to paste this multiple times or figuring out how to paste the html code into the post failed. If anyone knows they can fix it, or just cut and past what you need.

•Name changes & spelling fixed (Jaskier = Dandelion, Sheala de Tancarville = Síle de Tansarville etc..)
•Created an English book binding/cover page for "The Sword of Destiny" from the German version. Also created a cover from the Spanish version.
•Created Properly formatted printable version of "The Sword of Destiny & "The Time of Contempt" (contain page numbers - margins -gutter margins etc..)
•Created properly formatted kindle versions (mobi.) for all books (looks just like the e-book versions of "The Last Wish"

I'm interested in attempting a full translation, but I can probably start only during the summer break, unless I can tie the project in with my studies, which is conceivably possible.

Help with the Witcher Books!!!

My friends, I need help from you. I have recently found out that there are free fan translations to download and I was incredibly happy since none of the Witcher books are available in my country. I opened the link:

But I could only find those:
The Sword of Destiny - Short story collection
Baptism of Fire
The Tower of Swallows
The Lady of the Lake
Something ends, Something begins
The Witcher: Season of Storms - Chp 1

I checked out Wikipedia in order to find out which Books should I start with and found out that there are 2 missing books: 1. Blood of Elves 2. The last Wish
The Last Wish is the first collection of short stories I need to start with, and Blood of Elves is the first of the Saga. So without them, I can't start reading the books, and all those fan-translations I have downloaded will be of no use.

From reading the comments in the given link, I found out that the Blood of Elves, The Last Wish, and Times of Contempt were there, but were later deleted (I guess because they were officially translated). So, what should I do?? Can you help me?? You know how much it is important to me as a Witcher Fan
Does any one have a PDF (or such) copy of the books and can send it to me??? Or an alternative link to download the books??

If you are really that much of a fan, you should consider buying the books, because as far as i know those translations are not online anymore plus - since they are not official - it's not really a good thing to download them in my opinion. The books are only about 10-15€ and I think they are worth the money - all tough I admit, that the german translation seems a bit ...hmmm .. how to put that right ==> "Uninspired". Dont get me wrong, I do like the books, but I guess it loses a lot through the translation.
