You read that right! It's been exactly 20 years since we set up the official CD PROJEKT RED Community!
On September 1st, 2004, Draghmar, then CD PROJEKT RED's Community Specialist, sent the first message on brand new Official Forums (in Polish, you can read it here). Soon after that, messages started appearing on the International, English-speaking section as well.
Since then, our community kept growing and expanding. Official Forums evolved a number of times, switching layouts and engines. We opened new channels, in new languages, to better connect with local communities. In 2018, on June 10th, we launched the official Cyberpunk 2077 Discord server. A year later, on August 14th, 2019, the official Discord server for The Witcher followed.
Countless discussions provided us with invaluable feedback on everything we did. A multitude of fan creations you shared, whether drawn, written or hand-made, fueled our passion for creating games. Your continuous support over the years helped us become who we are today and we’re grateful for every follow, every comment and every like you give us not just on Official Forums and Discord, but everywhere we are - on Facebook, Instagram, Steam Discussions, Tumblr, X, YouTube and more, across 11 languages.
That's what we celebrate this month — you, your creativity, and your dedication!
In just 2 days we'll meet with you live on our Twitch channel, where we'll chat with Maja @undomiel9 Winarska, who has been moderating our official Forums for 18 years, Basia @Sherlotka Krasowicz, an admin of several Polish unofficial community groups, and @Marcin_Momot, our Global Community Director.
