I actually liked the game rather a lot. I hope you're not insinuating that I'm an idiot(Oh, and DA2 wasn't insulting because it wasn't adult-oriented. It was insulting for a whole bunch of reasons that can be summarised as "Did they think we're all idiots?". )
There's no doubt that DA2 was a rush job and the devs didn't have as much time to work on it as they wanted, and it did result in some glaring deficiencies (IMO the worst of them was the barely-masked reused areas). But I think that it has also just become "popular" to deride it as being awful when, in fact, I think it had a lot of very good qualities. I don't know exactly what your reasons are for not liking the game but I personally don't see a lot of the complaints I hear about it as being necessarily problematic, more like personal preferences that the game didn't cater to. And clearly it is perfectly legitimate to dislike a game because it made design choices that you didn't prefer, but it's also a different thing to say "I didn't like XYZ Game" than it is to say "XYZ Game is objectively bad" or "I didn't like XYZ Game because I'm not an idiot". I've loved basically every BioWare game to a greater or lesser degree, and I've also loved the Witcher games (TW2 in particular I thought was a masterpiece), so it is certainly possible to like them both.
Anyway, to get a bit more back on topic.... I've generally approved of the ways both of them have handled sexuality. BioWare is certainly more reserved, which isn't fine. That's why I don't see the lack of multiple sex scenes, or "underwear-on sex" stuff as a problem; the sex scenes in DA2 aren't really meant to be sex scenes, more like "insinuations", as well as a way to show the changing nature of the relationship between the characters. And, while they could have gone a different direction, that approach to it does fit in with the aesthetic of the DA games. The Witcher, on the other hand, is simply more blatant about the way it presents sexuality. That's fine too, and it absolutely fits in and enhances the feel that they've cultivated for the entire setting. I don't see either as objectively better or worse, but each works for what the developers are trying to accomplish.
