And it's a testament to CDPR's art that they can invoke them. I didn't get into the game to feel. I certainly wasn't looking for a romance, but it hit me and it hit me hard. I should have known I was in trouble when Jackie died and I found myself choking up.
I think what people with that mentality fail to understand is, it's not that easy for some people to simply "go outside and get laid." Experiencing stories like this allow them to remain connected to the world and I think that's pretty awesome.
I already did that. I have a savefile to play the whole panamstory in one playtrough and additional saves inbetween but I just cant do it.

I know what u mean. I started with CP reddit and well, some comments where that dumb, that i roasted them back, and never heard a word from them. Normaly i am not that type of guy but, its just sad that a community can be that toxic just because they dont like/want something, thats important for others. And thats the reason why i came here.this might be a little bit strange, but I just wanted to say as a girl it's really nice to see a lot of guys pour out their feelings this way with genuine care. It's not something I see very often and especially on reddit I see when someone tries to express how much they like panam, someone else replies 'omg bro go outside, get laid' etc etc and it discourages people from expressing themselves. So cheers to you fellas for sharing your emotions, especially on the internet it's not something I see too often
Reddit community is overall toxic in my opinion. I was active there once but had to drop it. Let them live on their own world.

/r/LowSodiumCyberpunk is a much better subreddit - much more positive. The main sub is slowly getting better as the hate-fest subsides too.
Honestly, I would recommend that sub over this forum even. Feel free to talk about the game or whatever other topic you want without fear of someone coming in and telling you why your opinion is wrong and that you should actually hate the game.
Yea lol, outside of our little thread here and a few other select ones there seems to be a lot of toxicity on here. Lowsodium is a really good place though, almost as good as this thread

I haven't found this topic so wanted to know if anybody raged with the fact that after getting the Amnesty revolver (the one you can win in the near impossible challenge agains Cassidy in the "Sun ending", asking Panam for help); after finishing this epilogue you actually can't keep the revolver. I mean I spend like 2 hours trying to get that revolver and then you can't keep it. This is the kind of things that really ruined my experience in the game.
After finishing the game you can't keep anything with you. That's one of the big reasons between all the others that we think that we'll get an expansion and in that expansion you'll be able to use everything that you got from the end of the game such as your weapons, the clothes that you got from that locker nearby the basilisk, your XP, the money, ...
I chose to be hopeful, I mean Panam litteraly promised that she'll make it up to me at the end. But yeah it still rips my heart out
