Panam Palmer Storyline/Sidequests DLC [Spoilers]

+
Well she had her life before you came along. I think it would be out of character for her to suddenly make you the center of her universe and I like that about her. During the final mission in the tank, she acknowledges her relationship with you and her relationship with the clan as two separate things and that's how I think it should be.
You're right that should remain unchanged, and her comment when she gave you a jacket...

hm, when V calls her before final mission (blue answer) she rejected V quickly enough
in sun ending she rejected V for the family
in nomad ending she said that do it for family not specially for you
and i don't like it
she is quite obsessed with avocados :(
That's what I mean though, would you really be able to trust a girl (or anyone) and believe she is a truly loyal person if at the first opportunity and first signs of love/lust she just up and abandons her whole family and everyone she's ever known her whole life just to be with you? I know that's how it works in Disney movies lol but personally I wouldn't be able to trust a girl who was so willy-nilly with her family/closest ties.

I'm about to get real for a second, but it's like what they say about starting to date a girl/boy who cheated on their partner to be with you. If she can do it to him then she can and most likely will do you it to you as well.

As far as that blue line goes, I think it was just a misunderstanding. I'd be pissed too if someone I just started falling in love with called me up at 3 am to tell me we're breaking up and we're not gonna see each other again lol. But once you correct her she's fine, and is willing to put her life on the line for you.

I mean both, but mostly just character and temperament. There's lot's of beautiful girls out there, but not very many of them are as Raw and as loyal as Panam </3

She is so loyal, authentic, and trustworthy, she does have principles. I love that.

If you have been too quick with her, she easily forgives you, and at the same time, kisses you to make you understand that she might just need time to settle her feelings, don't give up, only time will tell, just slow a bit.

The way she was totally honest about her feelings, totally vulnerable, how she started feeling uncomfortable around you because she likes you and feared telling something stupid, and how she doesn't want to lose you was just beautiful. Which girl would dare showing her weakness before a guy, just like that ? That's so incredibly courageous to me. ( From my experience women overall fear more than guys admitting their feelings to someone they like first, because the fear of rejection is more important for them, hurting them particularly, more sensitive )

Most girls that were into me would never have revealed me such thing openly while that's what they thought, simply letting you figuring out their feelings and their behavior toward you, cautious and subtle cat and mouse game ( which funnily enough Panam admitted that it was initally her plan :D ), hoping that you wouldn't be mistaken, a behavior that in your eyes could not always be rational, worse, that could lead you to believe that something was wrong or that she was just playing with your feelings. That already happened to me very often.

How many times when I was shy and lacking experience, did I fail in real life with women, because I misunderstood a girl that liked me but started to behave weirdly, showing me that she liked me first before being suddenly cautious and retreating as if she was rejecting me, cat and mouse game, to the point that you don't understand anymore and fear having been mistaken about her attraction to you.

Panam is so authentic, that she openly wants to clarify things with V once she feels that her feelings get real, and that something real might happen between them at the same time. She makes things very easier.

She doesn't hesitate to invite you to join her with the Aldecaldos, to live with her. It's so bold, and authentic at the same time, once again.

And that is a part of why I love her so much, I feel like as a guy, as her lover, we could communicate and understand each other very easily, very accomplices, whether about our issues, our feelings, joking or flirting, sex, about everything. That is so important in a couple ! :D

yeah agreed, and what she says when you choose that blue line "What?!... Fine. Fuck off." is in character for her as well because we know from spending time with her that her defense mechanism against being hurt is to respond with anger and putting up walls(remember her reaction in suicide voicemail).

Remember Carol said in her text that words can cut deep for Panam even though she puts up a tough front and that blue line is coming from the person who means the most to her in this moment, at 3 in the morning. So I think it just shows how much she cares for you, and still worries about messing things up, that her gut instinct is to assume the worst is happening and that you don't want to be with her anymore until you clarify it.

Simple "cheated once so most likely cheat again".

She is at the same time loyal to the family and you. She told you about how she feel with the role of the leader, because she trust you and know that you understand - she just needs to tell you that. You are her support now.

And yeah if you calling to your loved one at 3am and starting with "We may never see eachother again" don't expect any different response.

also you get additional dialogues with her :D
only voice is not her
We cant ask Panam to leave her family. We know each other from how much? 1 month? 2? We cant ask her or us or her family.

She begin to open to us mostly at the end. Our relation still need to grow, and it will.
If something happen to us, she will help us, no doubts, also without the help of the Aldecaldos. She will help us also alone vs 1000. She is closed and she needs more time. She is starting now, no pressure, give her the time.
We know she loves us

I wanted to stay in NC with Panam, live in a desert, without a comfortable place to stay with Panam, and slept in a tent is horrible and she never wants to return to NC.

Panam feels to me like she has similar thoughts to Santiago, Nomad at heart, but isn't scared of the cities. She may not want to return to Night city, but when you're travelling America, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience city living, she's just Nomad at her roots, is all.

Can't blame her for wanting to leave Night city specifically, it is the worst city in America in the lore. CP is a dystopia, and Night city is all of the negative aspects of this universe ramped up to 11.

also, over 1800 replies in this thread! It's been a crazy ride so far chooms :D

yes I mean that she is visiting from the badlands and probably sleeping over in V's apartment from time to time, but soon her clan will move on to arizona and she plans to go with them no matter what
saul, ted and bob are alive, they are veterans of corporate wars
why she thinks they can not handle without her
she is absolutely obsessed with desert family and no chance to even ask her to wait until V will return from space

These people are the Panam family and not all the Aldecaldos. At least these are the closest people, maybe in Arizona if they die Panam would to want to stay with V. :coolstory:

She is girl with strong rules. Family first. She wanted V to be a part of the family, to go with them, to be with her - after basilisk at the bar " Look V this could be our daily". But in the sun ending V refused that.

So what her words:
"V, remember if you will finish your job, join us" mean to you if not that?

Panam felt very alone in Night City, she couldn't make friends, and the few people she knew betrayed her or pissed her off, Nash and Rogue.
Also, in the end, you don't help her, she has no money to pay the rent, she couldn't live alone in a big city.

then it just means your V and panam aren't meant to be lol idk what else to tell you
I know what to say...You have to live with the consequence of your choices. She wants to help, but you denied it, she wants to have you close, but you also refused it.

"You may be king, you may possess the world and it's gold
But gold won't bring you happiness when you're growing old...
You're nobody till somebody loves you
So find yourself somebody to love"

devs should have added the way to save her from tarmac rats because she suffers from her role of queen (post-credits call) and it breaks my heart

I don't think she's suffering at all. Being a chief isn't easy and it's only natural to face challenges. Besides she has V to help her (who supported her decision in staying with the Aldecaldos to begin with).

Her entire questline is about family and belonging. It's where she belongs.
