That would be perfect!I really hope that we will wake up like that in Arizona...

Yes, The Fountain. Maybe this picture :accidental screenshot, but reminds of that meme/gif from that movie Tree of Life or maybe , Fountain of Youth, don't remember exactly, with Hugh Jackman.
This was posted on our discord but I wanted to post it and the idea here.
How great would it be to see Panam in a dress? It would have to a a reason ofcourse, like going on a date or a romantic even with her and V. Or Panam and V have to go on a mission undercover in a corporate party to get some info and or gear. Would love to see how she reacts and handles being in a dress (since I'm sure she really hasn't worn one before) and she would look stunning as well.
Could also go well with the parogie and slow dancing to "You don't know what love is" by the campfire, under the stars date we have talked about on this forum. Have both Panam and V all dressed up for a special night! Would be a great way form them to unwind and relax from what the have been threw.
I don't want to look "stuck", but for me, that wouldn't be a good time for that at all. The night before a day when possibly a lot of people will die because of you, it seems to me rather badly chosen. Basically, I would not have the head to this kind of activitiesThe scene after the initiation into the clan, where everyone is having a party the night before the big raid. Panam and V are on the cliff under a star-filled night sky overlooking the camp. I love that scene, it was a very tender and beautiful moment they both share, and just being there with her holding her in your arms was an incredible scene. However, When I was playing I couldn't help but think that this would have been the perfect moment to finish what they started in the tank right?

Hey, chooms! So I've been thinking about this for a while now, it has to do with the tank love scene and why it was cut very short, and about the continuation of it. I know that we all have talked about Panam and V continuing it in the expansions, but the more I think about it, the more I think it wouldn't make sense for those two to wait so long. I'm mean it's been around two weeks or so after the raid when Panam and V leave NC with the Aldecaldos, would Panam and V really wait that long or wait till they are in Arizona? I thought about this with my first PT and even more with my other two. The scene after the initiation into the clan, where everyone is having a party the night before the big raid.
I mean they both wished they had more time, and for all they know, they both could die tomorrow. They even mention that to each other in a way. So I feel like this was a huge opportunity missed. It would have flowed so well if the love scene continued at that moment. To me, it makes sense narrative-wise and continuity-wise. Just have Panam take V somewhere in camp where they can be alone and not be disturbed. This would also make it a good separation of the scene for male V and fem V. Fem V the scene ends the way it does right now, for the most part, those two just going to sleep up there on the cliff, but for male V it leads into a romance scene. Kind of like how it was with Judys last mission. If you male V it ends with you two being friends and falling asleep in the same place, but if you fem V it leads to a great romance scene.
If this has been talked about on this forum already, I apologize. just something I've been thinking about. I mean CDPR is great at characters and storytelling and the fact that they missed this is just kinda baffling to me. It would have fit perfectly to finish the love scene in that moment and I just can't believe CDPR didn't realize that. Anyone else feel the same way?
I can't get behind that, sorry.I kinda get what your saying, but the problem is that Panam and Saul made this decision. Panam even says so a couple times, once on the cliff and once in the tank depending on what you say to her when she asks " You ok? You seem quiet."I don't want to look "stuck", but for me, that wouldn't be a good time for that at all. The night before a day when possibly a lot of people will die because of you, it seems to me rather badly chosen. Basically, I would not have the head to this kind of activities
It's matter of taste obviouslyI can't get behind that, sorry.I kinda get what your saying, but the problem is that Panam and Saul made this decision. Panam even says so a couple times, once on the cliff and once in the tank depending on what you say to her when she asks " You ok? You seem quiet."
Saul and the rest of the Aldecaldos want to help you because of how much V has help them and put his/her life on the line, and because there is really good gear and tech to grab. When you talk to Bobby, Carol and Teddy you can tell then you are sorry for getting them involved, and they say "don't be, the Aldecaldos need this raid". Panam, Sauk, and the Aldecaldos have been very adamant about helping V.
As far as the battle being on thier minds, yes it would be, but so would the fact that they may not see eachother again after the battle. Why do you think they were all celebrating that night. If they all had the mind set your describing, they all would be sitting quietly in fear. But they're not, they are celebrating because they may not be there tomorrow. This has been done in many stories, a big battle comes and the night before everyone drinks and be marry, because it could be thier last night to do so. If it's your last night on this earth, you're gonna wanna do what you want with the person who means the most to you. It's human nature.
I could never give up the Basilisk scene. It was very unique and well done. Flowed very well with the story and story Arc of the character. And its not like Panam new they were going to be attacked right then and there. For all she knew they had plenty of time.Honestly, I still think the night before the Arasaka attack wasn't a good time. Not even in the Basilisk for that matter (or just starting and bam, been immediately interrupted).
What would have been much better for me is that before "Nocturn OP51" and after "Queen of the Highway":
A new quest possibliy named "All of Me".
- Panam gives you an appointment for a mission "remaining vague" at the Aldecaldos camp.
- You arrive, she does not presice anything and drives to a quiet corner (like on the edge of a cliff with a great view of Night City).
- "Hie V, I need your help again for something. Can you come to the aldecaldos camp ?"
- "Obviously yes Panam, no problem ! Why exactly ?"
- "I can't tell you by holo, just come please"
- "Ok, Ok, I'm on the way."
- Good surprise, there is a campfire, a sketchy tent and everything to spent a good evening.
- A few beers and some grilled marshmallow around the fire while watching the sun disappearing behind Night City, and yep, after that, possibly a "good" night.
- Finally wake up with a magnificent sunrise and return to the Aldecaldos camp.
It would be really better than in the Basilisk and infinitely better than quickly before the attack in my opinion.
Agree. And I can only complete your words with scene on the dam after Mikoshi when Vincent tells Panam they should try not living for “thens” anymore. Both of them want to live now especially considering how hazy Vincent’s future is.I can't get behind that, sorry.I kinda get what your saying, but the problem is that Panam and Saul made this decision. Panam even says so a couple times, once on the cliff and once in the tank depending on what you say to her when she asks " You ok? You seem quiet."

I don't see how mine comes down to taste since I'm talking about facts from story, character story arc, narrative and continuity. So I guess I'll leave this as a agree to disagree. It's matter of taste obviously
But unfortunately, for me, there no real "good" moments for that in Panam quest line. As I said in my previous post, a quest would be missing to make it perfect. In the Basilisk and before the attack, it would remain "do it quickly" and for me, it's nothing really satisfying
But I said that, maybe because I'm with Judy and that I would have liked that the romance with Panam also had a real moment like this. Not quickly between two tents and not because you risk losing your life there the next day. In short, a real true romantic moment
Absolutely, it was just my general impression which obviously only concerns me. I have never said who is wrong or who is rightBut like said, I don't want to start a argument so agree to disagree.
