Hello!

I am using a Macbook that has Steam and Parsec installed on it. I'm connecting to my Windows 10 PC on the same local network, trying to play Cyberpunk. All of my games work between using Parsec and Steam. My main PC is the host, and my Macbook connects into it. For some reason, whenever I start Cyberpunk through Parsec or Steam link on my Mac, no keyboard commands are able to be sent to Cyberpunk, however mouse clicks work. Other games work perfectly fine and are able to accept the clients commands, but for some reason Cyberpunk isn't able to. I can't get past the first screen because it requires you to press the "spacebar" to advance, which is super disappointing.

Is there any explanation as to why this doesn't work?

I'm having the same issue as well. I tried both through steam and Parsec and also tight VNC. It's like the game just won't recognize input controls from anything other than the inputs hooked to the main computer. I'm not able to get mouse or keyboard inputs to work.

My Main PC is the host and running windows 10 and streaming to another windows 10 laptop.

Hello there !

I got the problem too. I just got a little different configuration but in the end the problem is the same.

I m on a ArchLinux and I m using "barrier" a software that steeam over ip my mouse and keyboard. I also try moonlight (open source soft how use Nvidia streaming). Parsec does not work as well (but I'm like the two above).

I m trying to find something to get it working. Hoppefully we will get a quick fixe !

(For the records my gamging windows 10 is up to date for the game, included Nvidia driver)

Having the same issue. On main PC, plays completely fine. On steam link, can't get any input from anything unless its plugged directly into the main PC.

As I use Steam Link to connect to the living room big screen from my bedroom PC, this poses a problem.

Not one that is hard to over-come, but it would be nice to be able to use the peripherals plugged into the steam link.

Glad to hear I'm not alone in this. I spent a few hours trying to figure out the problem last night and wasn't able to see anyone else on the forums with this problem. Hopefully they get a fix soon for this.

Yeah same issue here. It's like Cyberpunk register Parsec Keyboard inputs as controller inputs or something like that and do weird things on inputs, like move the cam to the top or bottom. Need a fix for that :(

Glad I'm not alone either. Quite disappointing. I'm running a VM on my Unraid server. As stated, I'm able to get Cyberpunk to recognize the mouse but not the keyboard. Unless its plugged in directly to my Server, which is in another room. All other Steam/Parsec compatible games work fine with both peripherals.
Tried digging through the config files to see if anything was amiss or locked. No luck.
I've also tried playing directly from my laptop using Parsec which recognizes the touchpad but not the keyboard :/

I don't see any solutions right now. I also tried running the game windowed but nothing is working except the mouse click...

I'm seeing other people are getting it to work by connecting in a controller. However, mouse a keyboard combo's seem to be not working.

Steam Controller Mouse-Mapped Pad Issues :: Cyberpunk 2077 General Discussions

Cyberpunk won't take mouse input from the Steam Controller. Takes mouse+controller input simultaneously just fine; like, I can move with the joypad and move my actual mouse around. But Cyberpunk won't see input from the SC pad mapped to mouse. If I flick the 'trackball' in one direction...

Guessing this has something to do with the game itself rather than specific users software/hardware combo's.

I'm pretty sure Stadia is responsible for that

I'm going through the game config and system files to see if theres a "simple" on/off toggle related to usb devices that the game is not seeing in binary. Worth digging into at least. I cant see how it will only allow for mouse functionality but not both.

**EDIT: No luck here. Found a vast amount of inputs for controllers/mouse&KB but nothing pointing to what usb devices were being recognized by the game if any. Did some reading on Steam forums with people trying work arounds with the same results. :/

I am having this exact same issue. Tried playing via Parsec this morning and can't get past the opening splash screen. Spacebar wont register.

Parsec/Steam Remote Play with keyboard+mouse is not working for me either, but with Moonlight everything is working great. If you have Nvidia GPU, give it a try as a temporary workaround. :)

Ah ? I will try again for me the first time I check my keyboard didn't work. I will check again for a workaround but Moonlight is not as quite good for me. I would rather to play with my soft for remote mouse/kb over ip and a direct video flux.

Yeah it's working but for me there's much more lag and latency than parsec/ steam

I've been using Microsofts RDP to access my VM. I can't change the resolution and I have black bars on either side of the screen. Manageable for now.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried to use an Xbox One/360 controller with either Parsec or Steam Streaming connected to the client machine that sends button commands to the host? I don't have a controller but would pick one up if I knew others said that it works.
