Patch 1.05 - Lord Unvink - Infinite loading

Okay,

Unfortunately what i was afraid of, the patch did NOT fix the infinite loading bug.
When you start the fight with the Giant, the loading screen appears, and then it just stays there.

You hear arrows being shot, you hear the ominous music, but that's all.
I was afraid of this - since this was NOT listed in the upcoming patch notes.
And i asked twice to get a confirmation if this was fixed.

But the bug has NOT been fixed.
I'm really not happy, I hoped I could continue my quest and enjoy the game this weekend.
But not getting XP is apparantly more important to fix, then a bug that does NOT let you progress further in the game.
I am absolutely not happy, especially since this bug has been mentioned many times and several threads have been created.

Same here, I am also stuck in the 'infinite load-screen' after starting the giant-fight.

Some additional informations on my quest-progession:

- Did all the early steps up to the point where I had to search for the Archer Forlan and / or find Hjalmar.

- I found Hjalmar first and activated the next step for that part of the quest: to find the giants lair.
After that I freed Forlan (who wouldn't follow me after leaving the cave and putting on his gear - this issue has been mentioned in this thread: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/43547-The-Lord-of-Undvik-Forlan-won-t-follow-me?p=1724253#post1724253)

- Since Forlan did not follow me and also disappeared after moving away from him, I decided to ignore the 'Cross the Lake' part.
I made two seperate decisions here:

I proceeded to kill the Giant with Hjalmar WITHOUT leaving the Island / doing anything else apart from this quest -> I was able to kill the Giant without any issues.
Since this would cause the 'Cross the Lake' part to fail, I decided to wait for patch 1.05 and do some other things in the meantime: other quests, exploration and so on (meaning I left the island).

After returning to the island and attempting the quest again (both before and after patch 1.05), I noticed that Forlan would spawn INSIDE the giants-cave, on a stone-ledge, overlooking the area.
I was able to reach his location, could not talk or interact with him in any way.

After starting the giants-fight, I could also hear Forlan shoot arrows, so the game apparently keeps running while the player is stuck in the load-screen (since you will also die without controlling your character after around 15 seconds - you can prolong this 'infinite load-screen', if you keep controlling your character and run / dodge around.
I wonder if you're able to finish this fight 'blindly' ;-).

I got a save-game, if any dev is interested.

PC-Specs:
- OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
- Graphics-card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
- Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Overclocked at 3,6 GHz
- Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-870A-USB3
- RAM: 8 Gigs not sure what kind of DDR.
