Patch 1.06 broke my sound.

Patch 1.06 broke my sound.

Did not have any problems with 1.05.
Since installation, sound stutters to the point that the game is not enjoyable.
No problems with framerate.


Drivers up to date including audio (realtek)
RAM, CPU, GPU tested and working, no other problems with other games.
Tried reinstalling the game: no effect.
Tried deleting user settings files: no changes

In desperation, I think i'll just try to play with the 1.02 patch...
Any ideas....???

Same for me. Sound was fine with patch 1.05. Now with 1.06 it is unplayable with sound on. Have to play it without sound. Disappointing.

How do I roll back patches?
