Yes I have also a graphic problem. My face look blurish but not a total disaster. The environment at night in the second quest with Shani is the downgrade more lookable then in the midday. I checked it to look to the plants at night and midday. I think the problem lies with foliage visibility range, detail level and terrain quality ( grass density i dont know). But CD Projekt red you made me finally play hearts of stone which i couldn't play before because of the red stripes i get trough my screen and Shani was invisble when she moves therefore GREAT JOB. PS The graphic problem is not horrible but you can see it if you focus. For people who have a good graphic card I think that you must take a look to it CD projekt.

My specs:

Msi gtx 980 ti GAMING
processor: i7 4790k @ 4GHz
24 GB RAM
microsoft windows 8.1

I thank you for reading this CD Projekt red

I hope CD Projekt wil fix this for high-end users like me i want that sharp textures back from 1.10, even my gpu,s are running cooler then normal thats really enough already to say that they downgraded the graphics, i remember back in the days that cd projekt red promisted us pc gamers no visual downgrade but look now lol where is that promise ?

I hope an official RED developer can respons to this, and how to get back the graphics sharpness and better vegation sharpness then patch 1.11, because this kinda ruins my experience for a second run in hearts of stone :(

Trees and bushes look horrible now, more pale, more paper look and overal graphics looks a bit more washed now then before, more dull, just lesser level of detail now, i say screw optimalisations this is not a multiplayer game But this game is a feast for the eye, if not downgraded like now.

So RED make the magic happen again and bring back the eye candy, with an extra settings behind ultra, because this looks not good now compared with patch 1.10 period.

On the bright side, the frame rate in Novigrad is a lot more consistent because of the changes they've made

But yes, the LOD (distance texture quality and object/herb pop-ins) has been affected considerably, and it feels like these are imposed hard limits. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it.

Again hopefully i get a message from CD projekt RED very soon, that they announcing a new patch that make the game look like 1.10 again, i am not the only one that is seeying those slighty graphical downgrade :(

I just finished heart of stone again the second time and its really noticable for me.

I wish you'd at least disclose that you're nerfing the graphics. Shadows and textures getting shittier with every patch.

Sorry but I have to disagree. The game looks just as gorgeous on my PC as it did in May. Maybe try contacting out tech support if you're experiencing issues?

After looking more closely at my own game, I'm almost positive that the specular maps are now applied using broader passes, that's all. Personally, I like the change; the more muted metals, especially, feel more natural. It should also grant a few, extra FPS.

I know getting used to a subtle change like this might take a bit, once you notice it. (I really never did until I read this thread!) But in the end, it does seem to cut down somewhat on the glittery sparkling that affected chain mail at a distance, and it's still just as detailed, just not as reflective.

In wild life it looks horrible, to muffed for my tastle, like u seeying true glasses that are a bit dirty i dont like it my friend.

For an example the new forest arena,s in the dlc are looking to soft now lesser detailed, like plants and flowers, also there is more noticeable blur now with the level of detail, more in a bad way.

Yes! That's precisely it. It makes everything feel more "foggy" or "smokey". That's exactly what I like about it.

Whether or not it's an improvement is entirely up to each individual user. I always felt the metallic textures were a bit too sharp for their own good, but I can understand why people that really appreciated that "mirror sheen" would be jaded now. If you contact CDPR directly, maybe they can tell you how to edit the config files to get back the look of the old shaders.
