Patch 1.20 Level Issue

Prior to the update I was level 39 and about half way to 40. After the Patch I am still level 39 but my exp shows 2000/2000 and anything I do quest related or killing monsters it doesn't level me up. Anyone else having this issue?

I'm encountering the same problem. Also, with the new patch I can track quests, but no longer cancel tracking.

It was never possible to untrack quests, not a patch thing.

Hello,

Obviously everybody has the problem. I took an old save and the level that was 9 327/1000 becomes 9 1000/1000 after the patch 1.21. Moreover some people with a level 44 find a level back to 40 2000/2000.

BIG issue here ! :-[

Same problem here. Level 47 2k/2k EXP. Will wait playing the game/questing until its fixed. At the moment at HoS But no problem. Bugs happen !

Hello. On a PS4 french physic version, I have exactly the same problem after the patch 1.20.

It's very annoying, with the DLC's arrival !! It's breaking the joy, I was very excited by Blood & Wine tomorrow and the update adds really nice features.. The patches are never tested or what ????

My game is normal (no New Game +), post Hearts Of Stone ending.

I can confirm xp/level issue.
Before applying the patch I was fresh 48 level. After the patch 1.20 this happened. Notice the xp bar on the screen.

Figured out, that after I kill one mob I dinged to 49, then xp increased as usual. I didnt lup do 49, so can't tell what exactly is this about,

It's REALLY strange, but I have killed a bear (level 34) just right, and I have received 7 XP, my level is passing on Level 40 What the ***** ???? I don't understand what is going on but, it seems in my game that's no bug indeed, but a very very strange gain on XP with the patch 1.20..... The patch offers me 1 level free !

I'm testing with some additionnals wolfes kills, and my XP works normally.

I confirm having a very similar problem to that of the original post.

As soon as I load a savegame, I get 1000/1000 xp at level 4, no level change and I cannot gain experience from quests or monsters. I have submitted a bug report, hope this bug gets squashed soon!


EDIT: I started an old save in which I had finished the main story arc to play Blood and Wine, and the same thing with experience happened. However, after the first part of the initial quest with the knights from Toussaint, I leveled up and after that I was able to receive experience from quests normally. I still did not check the monsters though. So maybe this bug is not THAT serious
