I am having the same issue, downloaded the 1.5 patch from the .pl website as well as from atari's download site. Trying to upgrade the latest (1.4.1304) version of the retail box Enhanced version that was patched with the witcher website patches. 1.5 installer says it cannot identify version, the "check for updates" in the game startup screen brings me to the 1.5 page, but says that I have 1.5.1304 installed... checking the version via switching the game to windowed mode shows 1.4.1304 in the title bar. Not sure which registry keys you're talking about, I checked the FAQ and nothing jumped out at me as a .reg entry.LicaonKter said:

I successfully patched 1.4, I continued to patch 1.5. It began downloading without a problem till I got to the Install Shield Wizard window.
